Decent quite place with good variety. Ambience is minimal but pleasant. We had gone there for lunch and ordered special Rajasthani Thali, and that was decent. We also took butter chicken and Lal maas. Unfortunately both the non veg dishes weren’t tender and that let us down a little.
We had one of the worst experience at this place. This restaurant is still not out of the british slavery. For them every foreigner is ‘Angrez’ and they don’t care at all for the Indians. We sat for more than 40 minutes and all 6-7 of the staff were busy in arranging best places to sit for our foreign guests. All should be welcomed. While waiting, those waiters dared to ignore by looking us in our eyes. I then dialled their number and told the story, even then that guy on the call ignored. One guy, happened to say that you should not sit in the lawn but inside to get better service, I mean, are you guys out of your mind? Worst experience in my life ever. You guys are not Jaipur culture. All the best though.

It was good experience having lunch with family. Chicken is good in taste and well cooked. You can have other experience like magic show, puppet shows, or buy puppet pairs( very less in price) from them. You can also buy some gifts as speciality of Rajasthan, but cost is overpriced.
Its a nice place with well laid out lawns.. Its not very fancy but the food itself was quite good.Dal tadka was amazing while the Chicken was very well cooked.A note on the service: They were more than willing to please despite only two table being occupied.You can also pick up some curios from their gift shop which is a tad bit overpriced but then you dont have to go for last min shopping
I balked at coming to this restaurant for lunch, as we originally planned to go to LMB in the old city. However, with time running out, Pink City Restaurant was a strong option as it is situated on our way to the Amer Fort. It was not at all a regretted decision: I ended up enjoying every bit of my Rajasthani thali meal. An added bonus is my interaction with the much-appreciated in-house puppeteer, in light of the kathputli (puppet) industry’s sad and rapid decline in Rajasthan. Despite its rather hidden location (way within narrow gallis off the main Amer Road), the restaurant seems to be quite popular with tour groups.
Good food and nice ambience. The non vegetarian food Lal mass and Chicken were excellent. The food was on the oily side which somewhat took away from the taste.
