It was good .They should mark the level with perfection. Food was great but the hotel management should decorate and should make the restaurant look like 4 star
There are so many hotels in Jaipur and I’m not a big fan of trying their restaurants especially when there are many more places to visit. We were planning a family function at their banquet so to try out the food, we decided to have dinner here.It is located on Queen’s road, on the same road as Quyu’s Cafe. The hotel is designed in a very elegant and decent manner which really adds to it’s appeal. The restaurant interiors are also very decently done.Coming down to the food, we ordered:1. Veg Spring Rolls: 3.5/5: Hot & crispy rolls filled with veggies. The only set back was the use of way too much of cabbage in the filling which overpowered all the other flavors. And the filling lacked the chinese flavor punch as well.2. Chilli Paneer Gravy: 4/5: It was delicious, the paneer pieces were soft to bite and the gravy was full of flavors. Perfect balance of ginger, garlic and tanginess. The veggies also had the perfect bite which is needed in any kind of oriental dish. Do try!3. Tomato Sauce Pizza: 4/5: It was perfectly cooked, the crust was thin and crispy. We asked the staff to replace mushroom with jalapeño, which they happily did. The only thing I’ll suggest them to work upon is there pizza sauce, they need to make it more authentic in flavor. Do try this!4. Paneer Lababdar: 4/5: It was really good in taste, had the proper north indian flavor which every individual expects while ordering paneer lababdar. I feel as if, whenever you wanna test a restaurants food, order this dish and you’ll have a decent idea about how they do their north indian cuisine. A must order.5. Veg Jhalfrezi: 5/5: It was MIND-BLOWING!!! I have never tasted such flavorful jhalfrezi since forever. It had a kind of roasted coal flavor which took it to another level, they must have toasted the veggies they use in the dish on open charcoal fire and it sure as hell did the magic. Do not miss this jhalfrezi. A must must try!!6. Garlic Naan: 4/5: I would’ve rated it 5/5 coz our first portion of garlic naan was superrr yummy. It was thin, cripsy, flaky, lathered in butter and garlic but the second portion was not upto the mark. Why oh why chefs are not able to maintain their level of cooking.7. Tandoori Roit: 2/5: This is the first for me that I’m rating tandoori roti so low! I love my roti crispy well cooked (but not burnt) and that’s what they were lacking at. We told them to make it crispy, first they bought almost soggy kind of tandoori, then when we complained, they almost burned it to make it crispy. The chefs need to learn the art of making perfect cripsy tandoori roti without burning it from dhabas. The total food costed us around 2300/- for 6 people, which I feel is ok priced (but not so cheap as well). Overall the food was very much to our liking apart from tandoori roti and spring rolls. You should definitely give this place a try, there is nothing special (except their Veg Jhalfrezi) but it is a change from all the hip cafés and restaurant coming up in Jaipur.
