Went to rustic for lunch and was surprised to see them busy on a weekday. Simple yet beautiful ambience. The servers were well groomed, knowledgable and super quick. The food menu is really innovative and full of unique dishes. I am totally in love with Lebanese Pizza and khao-suey. They have a great selection of coffees as well. A very simple cafe Latte was made with such perfection that i just cant remember if i have had better coffee in my life. Cant wait to visit here again.
Decent place to spend time with friends and family
I have been here with a friend and we were both okay with the ambience and service. The food though needed improvement.. For eg. We had ordered a pizza and we emphasized on one filled with cheese, however, the first time it came to us it was dry and with very little cheese.. We sent it back and were hit back by the server twice double checking what we wanted.. We literally had to go speak to the staff preparing the pizza to explain what we wanted. The next thing was the butter chicken combo which was good however the naan wasnt great. So thin and small..We sat upstairs outside and there were huge lizards and there was literally lizard poop on one of the tables.. Not a great ambience..

After being regular at OTH we were excited for Rustic as it is closer to home but we had a bad experience.Staff is not attentive, however they are helpful; but u need to wait for them to come to attend you.Food wise, tasteless. We went for sunday brunch and ordered exactly what we eat regularly at OTH but it was very disappointing.
We were already so blown away by the food that OTH served and now with their other cafe in Malviya nagar, we are finally going to say that they are the best when it comes to food. We went to Rustic recently that was not just brightly lit but also pretty spacious. We had a whole lot of things, from something as comforting as pasta to authentic coastal food. We will start with how tasty the thukpa was. Thick, soupy consistency and the Maggi in it added a lot of flavour to the entire dish. The andhra fried chicken was tender, spicy and the curry leaves were too cooked to perfection. We then had the keema Parantha that was very home-style. We had the vegetable stew with uppam. The coconut milk based gravy was creamy and light and the fluffy uppams served along with it were SO GOOD. We had the taar Gosht with baajre ki roti. The gravy was really good and the mutton was cooked well. The mutton curry also went well with the uppam and the parantha that was kept on the table. The Goan fish curry with rice was absolutely mind blowing. All kinds of milky yet spicy and so well made that it made us miss goa terribly. Apart from all these Indian dishes, we also had the fusilli pesto pasta that was creamy and tonnes of bell peppers in it and totally fulfilled our craving for pasta. We also had the bannofie pie and the Nutella brownie that were way too sweet for our liking but we guess, that the entire main course made up for it. All of these dishes came to our table in exactly 15 minutes. So kudos to their super efficient working style in the kitchen that we didn’t have to wait for our food at all. We loved our experience out here and are definitely going back to try a few more dishes out of their menu. For more such updates, follow us on Instagram and Facebook: twohangrywomen
