Latest Update (Nov 2018: While the views remain nothing short of stunning, I can’t say the same about the food. I have visited Jharoka several times in the past one year and have found the quality of food degrading on every visit.I boast about the place to my visiting friends and the last visit was nothing short of disappointing and an embarrassment to me. Our order took 50 minutes to arrive, the Chicken Tandoori we ordered had hardly any meat on it and was really dry on the inside. The Mutton Kebab wasn’t cooked right and had a raw feel to it. The Biryani tasted like a common Pulav with pieces of meat in it. The curd was sour to the teeth and the missi roti hard as stone. Earlier Review (1 Year Back): Nothing short of stunning. The view is to die for and so is the food. The presentation and preparations are scrumptious. Best visited in the evenings after 7pm till 9pm when the forts lights are on and can be viewed in all its glory.
The star is only for the view they offer and the food wasn’t bad at allPretty standard food though for the price. The service was terrible. Probably since the place is popular with foreigners, we as Indians weren’t paid any heed to. They would not come to take the order for over 40 mins and neither give us a bill.
