this restaurant is located in one of the most iconic royal buildings of Jodhpur. They have many restaurants with different themes and we tried out this one when we went to visit here as a group of 4 with one kid.the place is spread out quite a bit and to our surprise their is a lot of greenery also around with tasteful decor.be sure to book a table here in peak seasons otherwise its generally full. We arrived here without one but the manager was dutiful enough to set a table for us.The menu is varied from typical local Rajasthani cuisine to some Italian as well as Continental dishes. We ordered Maans ke Sule and French Fries and Ajwaini Fish Tikkas as Appetisers which were quire nice. For the main course, we ordered the Juicy Lucy Burger, Grilled Fish in lemon butter sauce, Achaari Gosht Korma and Kulcha with rice. The burger was a big letdown considering there were no veggies in it and the patty was not fresh but rather a frozen one which was cooked in a hurry resulting in chunks of meat falling down here and there. The grilled fish was spot on and perfect for appetite of one. The laal maans as usual was quite spicy but to our liking and the spicyness can be varied as per requirement. The biggest problem was the service and the table layout. The waiters are hardly conversant with the menu and when we ordered the cheese fries; what we got was your regular potato wedges which were very oily. We had some drinks. 4 pints of Hoegarden beer for Rs.525 each and a bottle of Small white wine for Rs.1600 and 2 bottles of water for Rs.140 each. The prices of the drinks were certainly overboard but We didn’t like the hidden charges they applied in our bill like other than the 20% VAT, they also levied another 20% charge which is plain and simple fooling customers. So for our finall tally of Rs.3980 for drinks, the taxes were additional approximately Rs.1000 which brings to roughly 25% of original amount. See the pics for a better understandingFor our limited order, the final bill was Rs.10202 which was very high and totally off the market scene. We have been to better places and paid less than this so it was a surprise that the bill shot up so much.

This place was on my wish list since a long time, chose to spend my birthday here.Amazing ambiance, good service and like the way their team takes care of you and the folks music steals the show.Food didn’t do justice to the expectations I had with the place, I guess few things are better off the way they are made and not to be experimented to match up the palate of localites, do so if instructed and don’t if no instructions are given.Very disappointed with the food. Like they say every thing counts when it comes to the experience. A big let down! This is my personal opinion, not for others to judge the place without giving it a try. Every palate is different so is the opinion.Thank you team.

A lavish lunch at the Ajit Bhawan Palace, near Circuit House – the royal dining experience at this beautiful place is truly a treat to the senses!Greek Pizza – crisp thin crust pizza, baked to perfection with a generous topping of olives, cherry tomoatoes, fresh herbs and cheese. A different style pizza that makes for a good appetiser!Paneer Kadhaiwala – the evergreen cottage cheese curry in a delicious tomato gravy, infused with nice flavours.Price- Rs. 750Dal Makhani – a rich, creamy black lentil preparation that soothes and satisfies the palate.Price- Rs. 550We tried them with Amritsari Stuffed Kulcha and Cheese Naan both of which were pretty good.Price- Rs. 120 and Rs. 115 respectively.Do visit this place to enjoy the splendor and beauty of this heritage hotel!

Extremely disappointed with the attitude of staff. Food was never so good it was always for ambience we went. The staff behaved so rudely when we clicked pictures. They don’t know how to treat customer. Be polite when u take orders atleast not as if koi ehsaan krr rhe ho. Ruined my new year so never going to visit Ajit bhawan.
