Heard of JMB Kadi Kachori on Internet ,so on my Udaipur Visit give a try.JMB is small outlet which serves very delicious कड़ी कचोरी ..Kachori crushed and after this mixed with kadi, dahi, groundnut, imli chutney and sev..Must try this when you visit Udaipur
Nice little, and famous sweet shop near Chetak circle. We went to this place just to have the onion Kachori. The Kachori was excellent, and we actually ate it outside itself. They also have sweet shop, where they sell loads of sweets. This is Udaipur’s equivalent of Bikaner in Gurgaon.
Great place for kachoris and other snacks. Nothing too fancy regarding the ambience. The premises were quite clean and hygienic. The staff was extremely polite.
JMBWe headed out to Jagdish Mishtan Bhandar for breakfast as it was coming up in a few recommendations. This turned out to be a totally touristy place and the food was just average.Poha : This was warm and fresh and was sprinkled with a spicy masala. It was good but of course, have had much better versions of poha having spent a lot of time in mumbai and pune.Dal Kachori : this again was ok. The covering was crunchy and flaky and had the right consistency. But the filling was missing that punch. We had kachoris from a road side famout stall earlier and it was much better.Samosa : This samosa prevented the morning from being a total disappointment. Good filling, crispy coating and a delight to have piping hot during the morning.Mirchi pakoda : Disaster. No other word for it. The batter is just too thick and has no real flavour to it. The stuffing inside the mirchi was sweet and we were thankful that we ordered just one to taste.Side note : We saw a lot of people waiting for pyaz kachoris and it seemed to sell out instantly. Also, they were taking a long time to make another batch. The whole time we were there, we couldn’t see it.They also have a sweet shop attached to their halwai outlet and we bought a packet of ghevar from there. Again, absolutely nothing special and in fact have had so many better versions from other cities in rajasthan.VFM : Can’t fault them on this. Rates are really low. Good of them to not take advantage of their popularity.A self service place with the typical chaos you can expect.Verdict : I would give this a miss. Dig deeper and you will find much better options.
This restaurant is situated in the bustling city of Udaipur. When visiting this city a must try place for pyaz kachori and daal kachori. Also the mirchi ka pakora was yum.
Found this gem of a place on Zomato and decided to drop in for a taste of Udaipur’s famous Kachoris! It’s a shop which is split in two parts – one for the sweets and one for the Kachoris and freshly made things that you can eat there. We tried the Pyaaz kachori and the daal kachori and both of them were absolutely perfect. They were incredibly delicious, full of flavor and all the good stuff. The outside was flaky and the inside was yummy. They were piping hot and we enjoyed them with their yummy chutneys. The platform for eating could have been a little cleaner, but overall the food made up for it. The staff was friendly too. Definitely a must visit.
