If one is fed up with outside food and really wants something like home made, then u r at right place. Especially for tourists who stay at UDAIPUR and likes to give their stomach a rest, this is the place. Various thali options are available right from Rs 80, don’t go for the price, go for taste.
They have a variety of thali options based on rajasthani preparations like Pania, Dal bhati etc. The thalis are not unlimited and hence the prices are pretty cheap. We had tried the special thali for 100 bucks which had both dal bhati and pania. This was nothing as compared to the dal bhati we had at shivali . The food was ultra pungent and even the owner was rude in his behaviour towards the customers. Also, the timings written outside said the place closes at 9.30pm but that day there was shortage of food and they shut down at 9pm itself. Places like these do not set good examples for visitors. Thankfully, I had the chance to visit some amazing places before I had to try this one. Each of us was unhappy with our visit to this restaurant.

Staff suggested us to order Special thali which had Baati, Pania, Chapati, Daal, Kadi, Gatte ki sabzi, Rice, Pickle and Churma. Trust me, each and everything was just awesome! I didn’t use to like gatte ki sabzi before but their’s was delicious.A thali costs just 100 bucks! Will definetly visit this place again!
We dropped by because we came out for a late lunch and found this place to be open. We decided to eat here, even though the ambience if the place wasn’t striking, because 1) we were really hungry and 2) because we wanted some authentic Rajasthani food. We were so happy with our meal! The service was simple but full of love and the food simple yet delicious. These are the type of flavours you don’t find in restaurants because there is so much care taken in making it good. We would recommend it to anyone with love for good food and is not concerned so much about the ambience.
