Nice place but there is no lake view from the top :(I had chicken fried rice which was really yummy. The staff is cool and order is served fast.
The view is excellent with the whole pichola lake in the background but the food and service was bad. Despite less crowd I was told each dish I order will take minimum 45mins. I ate the pancake with banana and chocolate. The chocolate sauce was bad in taste. The pancake smelled of oil and banana was spoilt. I had to leave the dish after just a bite which I paid for. They didn’t even bother asking me why I did not eat it. I also ordered spring rolls which the outer covering was powdery and not fried properly. My sister ordered a chicken pasta which was actually noodles in white sauce despite ordering a red sauce. Plus it did not taste like a pasta more like a fushion of Chinese and white sauce. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place if you looking for good food. If you just want the view just go and order drinks that’s all.
Visited Cafe Namestey on Dussherra morning for breakfast.1. Service was too slow. Waiters not trained.2. Food was okay. Few pictures attached.3. View is good. Peaceful. Not recommended.
The place gets crowded in the night, but it has an amazing view. Slightly understaffed, but food is excellent. We ordered two starters and some roti and gravies. All of the dishes were excellent.
Among the pool of rooftop cafes in Udaipur, this definitely gives u another awesome view of the lake and places like jagmandir, Taj palace etc. Decor and crowd looks upbeat too. However, expect forever slow service and absent minded waiters. Also the place closes at 11 pm which does not makes it a night cafe. We ordered almost everything from the menu.Starters like Pakodas and Hara bhara kababs are good.In the main course- Must avoid – veg Biryani, Dal makhani, Cheesy naanCan try – Malai KoftaCocktails are again average with limited options.
While the view is breathtakingly amazing the food is quite average. Service is really pathetic!Food : Veg Biryani n Malai Kofta were decent, Dum Aalu n Daal Fry were Average while Dal Makhni, Cheese Roti were totally pathetic. The drinks are okayish. They dont have half the cocktails.
Amazing place with awesome hospitality. North Indian food is delicious and worth a try. You can have a view of pichola lake and city palace with background of Aravali hills. The place becomes a beauty after 7 as the sun sets. They also provide an option to learn to cook the dishes you like.
