This is the fine dinning restaurant that the magnificent Tak Lake Palace boasts of. As you enter the restaurant, a sitar waadak is at the entrance waiting to welcome you with soothing music. The staff is very warm and courteous. They serve you with a 4 course meal that I bet you cannot finish. They first serve a clear shorba/soup followed by a starter, you can pick veg/non-veg. After this comes the massive thali which is overwhelming at the first look itself. The thali consists of 4-5 kinds of rotis/Indian breads, Dal baati choorma, gatte ki sabzi, laal maas, chicken, ker saangri, raita, pulav. They then serve 3-4 varieties of desserts like Ras Malai, rabdi jalebi to a name a few.
The mixed thali (veg and non veg) is a must for all non veg lovers. Laal maans is on point and cooked well. Since it’s a taj, please assess the ambience and quality of service. Although we expected a bit more Rajasthani in the dishes, they were pretty generic, barring ker sangri and dal bati churma.
