So it was a complete continental meal that we had with a very little Indin touch in this lavish restaurant. Service was as expected great. Ambience was buzzing and busy. And the food! Sea food and the amuse bush that was killer. Amazing.
The food was good and fresh. The taste could be more better, as it was little blend. The staff was helpful and service was little slow. Overall a good experience. Food – 4/5Staff – 4/5Ambience – 5/5
Regular buffet breakfast at this place with good variety. Specifically, I liked the fact that there were so many staff members to take care of your needs.Loved their live counter Cleanliness is a bit to be worried about. fravelsite.wordpress.com
Pathetic behaviour and most of the staff was not aware of the restaurant operation timings. Before reaching the venue I called and confirmed about the timings and operation, when I reached they informed me it will start after 1 hr and when I complained about the mis information they simply said sorry. Disgusting
The crackling spinach steals the show as an appetisers delight for any vegetarian.Be it soups noodles rice n food festivals everything just about every thing about wok by the lake is simply awesome.Dishes like Kung Pao chicken, king prawns, Thai curry literally make a mouth watering experience for any pan asian food lover.Must visit if u a big fan of Chinese n thai cuisine.
So our thirst for Chinese Food ended at ‘Wok by the Lake’ finally, after 2long years at Udaipur.Radisson is a name in itself and their Pan Asian – Oriental Cuisine Restaurant was an invaluable find.I need not even try to rate the Ambiance because it was a (5/5), five star in true sense. The decor, the interiors and the maintenance not to forget the service ( 5/5), was impeccable. Staff was courteous and was headed by Vineet, an extremely passionate professional with dreams and the guts to achieve them.As for the food : (4.5/5)When we reached WbtL , we we’re informed that there was a Chinese Food Festival being held apart from the a la carte menu.We opted for the Food Festival Menu wherein there were options between Non Veg/Veg – Starters and Soups , Main Course, Desserts all of which had options too except the dessert. We ordered for the Hot and Sour Chicken Soup which had a generous amount of Ginger in it. The soup was strong and well made, even though I’m not a soup person I enjoyed it specially did my husband. He was super satisfied.Next we had the Chicken Dimsums (served in the traditional basket) and,Kwonhung Chilli Fish for the starters. The kwonhung Chilli Fish ( traditionally, crispy fish made with cornflour, red pepper, sauces and spring onions)Stole the show because it was absolutely delicious! With a little honey sweetish tinge, crisp with sesame seeds, it was a winner.Kung Pao Chicken( also known as Gong Bao or Kung Po, is a spicy stir-fry Chinese dish made with chicken, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers ) ,Fish in oyster and basil sauce(Oyster sauces today are usually made with a base of sugar and salt and thickened with corn starch. Oyster extracts are then used to give flavourto the base sauce, traditionally it is a thick sauce made by cooking oyesters),Chicken Hakka Noodles and Schewzan Egg Noodles for the main course. Both the fish and the chicken were well cooked and tasted great along with the noodles. It had a generous amount of Egg/Chicken in it and by the time we were through with this we knew it was money well spent! And lastly,Walnut Brownie with Hot Chocolate Sauce for the sweet tooth cravings and the plating was artistic in the spirit of Independence Day. The brownie however could have been softer.P.S. No Alcoholic Drinks were being served because 15th August is a dry day. :/Overall again and we recommend it to all those who love Chinese food- your search is over!
