If you are looking for a relaxed afternoon with your friends this is a place to be. They have an amazing selection of cocktails and the bartender is sure to surprise you with new mixes as per your choice. They also have happy hours from 11am to 4pm and offer a decent selection. A must visit place and is highly recommended.
Arcot Bar is the in-house bar at the Trident, Chennai. Do not miss their Whiskey Wednesdays offer if Whiskey is your poison. They offer 3 whiskeys at the price of one and you can have the best varieties such as Royal Salute. Among the starters my favorites were the Chicken 65 and the Chilly Egg. The Chilly Egg was so good that I could forgo the others just to try this out.

Super expensive, was expected. The quantity of ‘chakna’ was really good. The waiter had an expression of ‘can these people afford this place?when are these guys going to pay the bill?’, not good. The music and ambience was good.
My visit was for business, while stay at trident was tired after long working day, thought to refresh with a drink at the bar. Went to the bar, was quite classy and comfy sitting, ambience was good, ordered for a chilled LIIT, which was not on menu, but bartender honoured it and asked my choice about the drink and glass to be served, thought that drink was not potent enough, for that he added some liqueur to it and was perfect. Ordered for chicken satay in Indonesian style with peanut sauce dip. Was wonderfully done. Overall great experience.
