  Cost is sky rocket high with very less quantity Big looters in madurai.. Omelette size dosa cost is very high. Pls don’t come here.

  I was over hyped about this restaurant , I ordered NV meals & chicken biriyani , mutton biryani . Biriyani is worst no taste nothing. In meals only mutton curry was good rest are not worthy. In meals they provide only 3 types of curry and unlimited rice .Amma special chicken was so good yummy only good thing to eat is this dish.Seriously I felt why did I even eat there

  Well i have listen alot about this place, But found this place below averageLocated at prime locationBut expensive as compare to quantity & TasteBut they have some very different dishes like bone marrow omlete, keema ball, mutton sukkha and biryanisAmbience – 5/10Food – 7/10Price – 3/10Staff- 8/10

  Yes finally went to Amma mess after reading and hearing a lot about it, well my experience was a bit disappointing nd I expected that as it happens at many such famous restaurants around there becoz it’s always full and once the waiting is there no one bothers to ask do you need table how many ppl nothing nothing all those in the waiting que keep hunting for places or they wil stand near by a table which is about to get vacant I mean that’s so annoying such a bad way of treating your guests now let’s go for the food part we had mutton biryani, chicken biryani, Kola urundai, cheela fish, eral roast, mutton sukka and one meals, crab omelette wasn’t available, well everything came very late biryani was bitter both tasted the same and mutton pieces in biryani was bad and with fats Kola urundai was good mutton and chicken gravies weren’t that good service was worst and very slow and the portions are very small I mean it’s tiny just 4-5 pieces overall food was average for my nd my parents didn’t like it at all I have better food at many other chettinad restaurants it’s jus overrated I would request to treat the customers well not like this bcz you are popular may be bcz of that we felt it more tasteless than what it was
