4 Idlis and 2 Vadais will cost you 120 bucks and think about cost of other items. In no way we can justify this cost. Its just a dark,noisy,shack of place with some rickety chairs and tables. Idli looked really odd and big size vadai will shrink once you dose it with sambar.This place is running only due to its yesteryear popularity, proximity to market and GST.
This is a traditional old age reataurant servin for people from long back. The price is reasonable and taste is very good. service is very good and servers are very quick in respondingto us. Ambienece can still be better. Now it is pretty decent but it can be improvized. Good place for family dining
A good place for a quick bite. The pricing is reasonable given the taste and fast delivery time. Serves chat and masala tea that’s lovely. The service is fast and the waiters are very responsive. Hygiene can be further improved even though it is not bad.
This was the place my parents went when they studied in MCC some 30 years back and the place I used to go when i studied in MCC. Bhats is an old school vegetarian restaurant located just aside the busy West Tambaram Bus stand. On any day. this place is crowded with either day stream MCC people waiting for bus or the people coming from other places to Chennai on the Tambaram bus stand. There is nothing spectacular about the taste or menu. They serve both North and South Indian Cuisine. Price is pretty reasonable and the quantity is okay. Service is pretty okay and that is one of the weaker areas that these people need to look into.
