Authentic Punjabi style food. The ambience slightly resembled a dhaba setting. The staff are all non-Tamilians but handled all customers without any hassle. The dishes that I had were,1) Veg Spring Roll – Crispy, not too much deep fried, but totally lacked flavours. It is served along with an in-house spicy sauce instead of ketchup and the combo doesn’t go together quite well – 5/102) Cheese balls – 8 pieces of very tiny balls, also served with the same spicy sauce, few of them has sweet corn stuffed inside and each ball, although little, contained nauseatingly high amount of cheese – 6/103) Butter Tandoori Roti – Perfectly cooked. Easy to chew and had the right amount of butter over it – 8/104) Veg Angara – I actually, didn’t know what this dish was. The waiter recommended this one. It was very spicy and had mashed paneer, sliced beans and red chillies. It went well with the rotis and when I generously squeezed lemons into it, the taste was leveled up to a whole new dimension. Totally worth the price as the quantity was also satisfying – 9/105) Tomato Basil soup – Had rusk pieces soaked in it. Tasted okay. The flavour of tomatoes was high. Worth a try – 7/106) Lemon mint juice – Prepared in the right mixture. Tasted very good – 8/107) Badam Kheer – Punjabi style kheer, contained a little bit of elaichi essence – 7/10I’d recommend not to try Chinese starters here. Service could be improved. The outlet has separate chaat and juice counters at the entrance. Vehicle parking area available.
Good wholesome vegetarian fare. The North Indian food is particularly authentic and good. Try out the typical Punjabi food, including rotis, dal and subzi, and you will not be disappointed. The dhaba-like interiors add to the charm.
There Office Thali Best Option for Northindian Lunch. Quantity is morethan enough and Tasty too. Well in Dinner Menu, there Panner Keema Masala and Panner Lababdar are very nice. Cheese Masala Papad is good and Tandoori Butter Roti The Best!
The ambience is set in the form of truck and dhaba. In the small town of Sourh India finding the delicacies of North India is a boon. The quality of food is really good. But due to this, it attracts a good crowd both north and south indians.Although seating capacity is less, thus sometimes you may need to wait before getting your table.
