  I ordered a fondant cake for my son’s birthday. Though the chocolate truffle cake was yummy, they spoiled the entire mood of the party by very late delivery. Inspite of me following up from the morning, they did not deliver the cake on time. It was delayed by 1.30 hrs and the party was also delayed due to that. When enquired about the delay, the manager carelessly responded that the cake was ready but there is an issue with the delivery boy. @manager – who cares if u have the cake ready @ shop and boast about it and give silly reasons for timely delivery . If u promise a timely delivery, strictly stick on to it. If not don’t ever promise.

  Today I have called twice Cake Talk to order a birthday cake and my call got picked up and he asked me to wait until he checked the availability of the cake. The whole day passed by, no response from them.

  Cake ordered for my daughter on 01.1.2.2018. Delivery was promised at 7PM but got delivered at 7:30 – One of the Letter of my daughter got broken and delivery done at 7:30 PM- Worst experience- When enquired about this incident the next day- response was very poor. Still there probelem they are not realizing. No rating to be provided

  I tried their Black Forest cake ,Banana cake and cookies. The taste is good. AC is availavle.Rate -100 – 250 for 2 peopleImprovement areas -More items could be addedOverall rating -3.5 / 5

  Very Very Worst Service! They are not following timings. For my son’s first birthday we have ordered a designer cake of 3.5 kgs and asked them to deliver by 5:00PM.These people delivered it at 7:30PM. delay by 2.5 hours .. it is less than 2 kms from their shop (Medavakam, caketalk) to my house..all of my friends and relatives came did fun on us without cake.. and went on. felt very bad and they spoiled our happy mood on our son’s first b’dayWhat is the use of having3.5 kgs of cake when no one is there? Even i followed up them from Mrng itself to avoid such mess..Though they are collecting our mobile numbers, they are not using it.. may be are they worrying for call charges to call me back and get the address. ? shame!Reason for the delay is they dint get the route to my house so went back to shop it seems.. then y the *** they collecting the customer’s phone number? Since i dont have 0 points to give rating.. i m giving 1 here.Friends.. my humble request is dont step in to Cake Talk, medavakkam branch!

  Calk Talk, Medavakkam, ChennaiAmbience -The place is just a regular area , with least decoration but air conditioned . Max 6 to 10 persons can dine in.Cakes-Their cakes are not well refrigerated, so the cakes give a wet feel due to the lack of proper chilling .The prices are reasonable, but quality wise not worth it. The Ice cream machine is always out of order , and no proper measures are taken enough to fix them. Ice cream prices are slightly high , even an international level McDonald gives cheaper and better cone ice creams.Varieties- They do have a lot of designs and models with different flavours which are attractive . And this one point is the major merit of the shop .All over its an below average shop, for a fast growing town like Medavakkam, with a lot of good restaurants around .But its the only cake shop that prepares varieties of designs and flavours in the locality .
