Now a days the service is very poor. We go here just because this place is the only option left. If you go alone, the waiters treat you like a begger.
For people who stay beyond Tambaram, Sorgam Bar proves to be a decent place which serves alcohol with proper bar settings. Nothing extraordinary about the ambiance but got to know that this place gets really crowded during weekends. Even though we reached there about 11 PM on a weekday night it till was reasonably crowded but waiter promptly took orders citing it as the last order. For a last order, the service was really good. Beer was chilled, side dishes were prompt to arrive and refills happened quickly. Not sure the promptness was due to the fact that the closing time was about to happen or it generally is like that. Whatever, we benefited out of it. Being in the outskirts, parking would never be a problem in this place which also hosts a restaurant. But it’d have been better if they had given a proper entrance to the bar, rather than the metal staircase which was quite tipsy. But I can understand that they’d have designed keeping in mind their patronage. For a bar which serves beer at Rs. 200 and refills the side dish innumerable times. Good Ambience.. They don’t serve much variety of drinks.. Reasonable prices though.. Unlimited side dishes are good.. Especially the podi idly.. Service is good.. Overall a worthy place
If there is crowd,then better don’t got to this bar.service is the worst in this time. Unlimited snacks provided with beer is good. It’s quiet expensive but drinks are worth it.
Worth for money !
The place in the first floor of vassi plaza. The only thing I liked about the place were the offers provided and now that they have removed them. The ambiance is okay . Service is also decent. There were not many varieties of drinks also. You have a very limited number of options to choose from. The standard of the place seem to be reducing every time I visit.
