The OMR food street had some variation of cousine and one of them is Adukalai. The seafood dishes is the highlight and the taste was very good.We ordered varieties of NoN veg dosa and the quantity is high. the price is bit high that not suit for the dishes

This place fascinated me from the moment I entered. I stepped in hesitantly since I thought that the place is empty but I was in for a surprise. The place was packed. Adukalai is a place that truly is environment friendly and serves tasty home made food. They do not have menu cards nor do they use plastic in any form with the exception of plastic money. Their chicken curry dosa is tummy filling. If you want a quaint home feeling amidst the chaos of the city then this is the place to go.
Ambience is good. Taste is really great.. chinna vengaya podi dosai , paniyaram and sukku paal were the ones which I ordered. All of the dishes were too gud.. The copper jugs and mud vessels they use for serving were quite attractive.
Adukalai is a restaurant serving non-vegetarian and vegetarian South Indian delicacies in OMR food street , Navalur.For the starters , we had some Mutton chukka , chicken 65 and an egg dish. All were good , a little spicy for my taste.In the mains , we had all the Biriyanis like Mutton, Naatukozhi and Vegetarian. The Naatukozhi biriyani was amazing. We also had a Paarai fish fry which was just too good.They also served kesari and guava juice which was complementary. The guava juice was very refreshing.On the whole, it was really nice experience here. Not the best ambience though. The price was little bit high bordering on 350 per person but the food was worth it!Do check it out!
Not so great.. may be you can visit once to get different ambience.. food is not that tasty especially biriyani.. it was so dry and felt like reheated one. Chicken curry dosa was good.. aapam was not good.. my friends told even fish is not that tasty..
Nice South Indian place to get all the delicacies that u dont get in Chennai. Not so great Ambience but the food is great. The snacks like paniyaram are good.
