  The only place In chennai to have authentic punjabi food. 18th December, 1st visit After hearing that Bhangra has opened closed to my house didn’t have patience to wait anymore. Head straight from office to here and bought the Tandoori chicken . It was lovely as it took me back to the dhabas on highways in Mp , orrisa border in 1991 , when I was a small kid. Tasted awesome and daughter was finger licking it. 11th jan – Door delivery of Panneer butter masala – it was awesome and my guests were finger licking it. 21st JanThis time again for a take away. Ordered the chicken tikka , chicken Achari tikka , Chicken Tikka was awesome , juicy and fresh Achari tikka was spiced to perfection and loved the taste Dal makhani – was really good and I must say after years I am having dal makhani which I liked and is going to be my regular order from here. Rotis were soft and and my daughter just loved it. Lassi was tasty and my wife loved it to the core. 25th jan After hearing they have non veg sher thali, wanted to try it very badly. Went along with my family around 9.30 pm, the place was crowded as it was weekend. But we got the table in couple of minutes as we had already done the booking by calling to Mr.Navtej. We went for 2 Sher Thali, Each Thali consisted of the below items As soon as we sat we were offered sweet lassi and papad along with chutney , chillies, onions. Lassi’s were brought when ever we ordered. Sweet corn chicken soup was served after our order was placed. Starters 1. Mutton sheek kebab 3 pieces – this was juicy and tasty 2. Chicken malai tikka 3 pieces – this was awesome as as it lots of malai and my daughter loved it. 3. Chicken tikka – this was spicy and cooked to perfection. Main course 4.Mutton gravy – mutton was juicy but felt the gravy could have been better. 5.Butter chicken – this was tasty and loved it a lot. 6.ANDA curry – the gravy was amazing and tasted well with rotis. 7. Paneer lababdar – this was best gravy of all and loved it to the core as it was finger licking good. 8. Boondi raitha9. Peas pulav – it’s was made with basmati and my daughter loved it . 10. Assorted rotis and naans – Brought to table as and when the ordered hot and fresh. Deserts11. Moong Dal Halwa- this was tasty and sweetened to perfection without too much of sugar in it. 12. Kheer – it was rice kheer and Tasted awesome with the saffron flavour and perfect amount of sweet. 13. Green salad.Trust me 3 people can share this sher Thali and still have lot of food of everyone. I would say the drive to mahabs was amazing but the food at Bhangra made my day with this SHER Thali . Ambience – 5/5Service – 6/5Taste – 5/5Thanks Navtej for the amazing service.

  Chicken tikkaA usual dish but made with perfection. This place Bhangra is hidden behind Mayajaal and it’s a proper Punjabi themed restaurant. Not just the tikka is awesome but the ambience too. They have writings hung around the restaurant about Punjabis which brings a smile.

  If you are a north Indian living in chennai searching for a food that suits your taste buds then this place is the best. Food was very tasty. We ordered sweet lassi, dahi kabab, paneer lababdaar, butter chicken, butter naan, aloo kulcha and tandoori roti. Everything was so tasty. Also the owner of this restaurant is very nice. So if you miss your north Indian taste then this place is a must try.
