Food is highly overpriced for the quantity they give. Waiters are way too impolite and service is very bad. We ordered butter chicken and wheat paratha. We literaly got only butter chicken gravy with max 2 pieces of chicken shredded into like 5 to 6 small strands of chicken. Our wheat paratha magically turned into laccha paratha, which the waiter refused to replace saying we didnt order wheat paratha in the first place.. please avoid this place if possible..
We ordered some food from our office via zomato, order was placed later we got a call from the restaurant stating they dont accept zomato orders I dont know for what sake it is showing delivery in zomato later we ordered in swiggy and it got delivered. Ordered poricha kozhi combo which had 2 parotta, some chicken gravy and a big piece of deep fried chicken nothing to complain about food but given low rating for the disappointment which we received initially.
Wanted to try a Kerala style Food so ordered a Malabar Chicken Biryani and Kerala Parotta with Chicken Curry and an Egg Podimas along with a Veg Kothu Parotta.Delivery was on time and the packing was good.The taste was very typical Kerala style but the level of spice was not up to the mark.Next time will instruct them to increase the level of spice.A must visit place.
I have had porotta, Chilli chicken, Ayala fish Meals here. I should say the food is average. Also, the meals does not have unlimited rice, which we did not know and ended up paying extra for extra rice. The kerala porotta was too oily and Chili chicken was just bones and barely any meat. There is no good Kerala food nearby, so you can visit this place for Kerala cuisine. The ambience was fine. The staff was not very attentive. There is a branding of Crescent Restaurant on the Name board, which I was fond of in Nungambakam and Adyar, but couldn’t find that level of service here.
The Kerala food is awesome here. We have tried puttu+kadala curry, appam, Prawn chettinad, kalamari fry. Their Karimeen polichathu is the must try. I must say about the aval milk. Its with proper consistency and sweet with the banana blended in it. The cost is also affordable. A must try for all the keralite here.
