Went on a weekday for lunch; great location, just past Mayajaal.Very simplistic but classy ambience; we picked seats in the thatched roof area with the lowered flooring. Decor was great, subtle and stylish without trying too hard.Ordered fried potatoes, beef steak with brown sauce and the interestingly named Angel & Devil Chicken. Chicken was pretty good, beef a little tough and chewy. The flavors were excellent. Potatoes – nothing to write home about.Very pleasant wait staff, I got to play John Mayer from my phone when I asked nicely!Overall, loved it. If you’re looking for some great good before/after a movie at Mayajaal, Lydie’s is where it’s at!

Actually the place is cool. But it is not maintained properly. We ordered crispy chicken for starter, only the menu had the word crispy. It was just like a normal pakoda type dish. Friend rice was good. Only chapathi n parotta was available in the bread item for lunch. So we ordered chapathi n pepper chicken gravy. Instead of pepper the gravy turned out to be chilly gravy.Overall ratingAmbience 2/5Food 2/5Not worth for the money paid.
Beautiful place. Very cozy.. very polite and friendly owners. The place is there for about 10 years now. They are able to sustain because of the consistency. Food is lovely and they even customised the dish for my 4 year olds liking!!! Thanks a tonCheers
Unique dishes, Friendly place, flexibility for customer needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the food- do ask names you don’t understand before ordering ( like we ate a garlic heavy dish without realising as name was not in English language)
Our frequent hangout spotMy personal favourite : lemon syllabubThe motorbike served as a prop for all our photographsWe even went there on a Monday and turned back to dine elsewhere 🙂
