For a typical udipi restaurant, this place is actually quite nice. Quality and quantity is good, and the food is priced reasonably relative to other chain restaurants. Service is good and the turnaround is quick without seeming pushy. Good place for a quick dosa and coffee.

Hi friendsUDUPI DURGA BHAVAN is located exactly opposite to my house and it’s one of my most favourite hotel in Chennai. You can have an excellent filter coffee and meduvada at 5.30 am early morning. The review is based on visiting the hotel several times.1. Poori Masala: This is my favourite food. The masala will be excellent and freshly prepared. It can rightly compete with even most highly rated veg hotels in Chennai.2. Idly and vada curry: This is the hotel’s Signature dish. It will be available only between 6am to 9am.3. Kadai paneer: Another highly recommend dish with lots of paneer and kaju. It goes well with butter kulcha.
The food was stale. Dosa is tasteless and idly was shit. I can’t waste my time in writing more. I think they shd sell the hotel and go back home.
