It’s a cute little hut on the way to matrimandir. It opens at 7am so it’s probably the only option in this area if you are an early riser and want an early breakfast (the rest of the cafes open by 8:30am) .It’s simple but great in terms of both ambience and food/beverages. I had a masala omelet and masala chai, it was not as great as compared to the fancy Cafes around but the most satisfying breakfast specially on my day 4 in pondicherry when I had started missing home, this place gave me a taste of my home.
It is a cool place. A great ambience with a feel of jungle life. Go there for their drinks especially Hibiscus Cooler. Their lemonade with mint is a total disappointment though.
It’s a small hut / dhaba type cafe you’ll find on your way to matrimandir, auroville.After a long walk in the sun, it’s the nearby and affordable place to sit and relax your throat with some shakes, ice cream, etc.The place might not be very hygienic, but it sure does give you all the vibes. It’s a good place to have a quick snack in affordable rates.
Excellent coffee. One of the best coffee I have ever tasted. Snacks are too good. The service is also very prompt. KBS seems to have their own food delivery app which is really impressive.
Kitchen is quite untidy as it is in Open, but they match your expectation for the coffee. Hygiene is the issue with there kitchen. So before ordering make sure they have cleaned up the mess.
I stumbled on this place when looking for a brunch place in Auroville and found it quite charming. I usually stay away from most vegan drinks but their vegan coffee was pretty good. Their fare was simple but tasty. There was only one person working behind the counter but the service was pretty quick and efficient. The only downside I can think of is that they don’t have restroom facilities. I would have loved to stick around and read but realized I couldn’t hang around for long 🙁
It’s great place to spend your time in Auroville, the map given here in Zomato was wrong, the map co-ordinates lead me to an local Kofi Bar near Paradise Beach. The shakes are fines. And the bonus thing thing you get spirulina here, so why are you waiting?!Go, get some superfood from here.
