First time in Vellore and I had to try Nattu Kozhi Biryani, along with some Kerala paratha and Chettinad Chicken. This less known, hunky dory road side restaurant did great justice to these delicacies. I thoroughly enjoyed them all and Nattu Biryani goes in my list of favourite biryanis.However, although the staff were courteous, but at times I felt disturbed as they were overly attentive. Whenever our eyes met, I found them observing me closely, almost directly looking at how I was having the food. This is not how you make your customers feel comfortable.Do keep up with the good food at cheap prices!
We had one plate Friday special dosa. Aloo paratha with chutney and badam milk. Dosa was ok with different choice of chutney. Aloo paratha wasn’t so good but the badam milk was perfect.
Had been to this authentic Madurai restaurant with family and a friend. Very homely typical South Indian joint with class of it’s kind, food. Had Naatukozi chicken both gravy and fry dishes. These are Country Chicken dishes with the best recipe. The spices were meticulously cooked to give the most authentic taste! We had Chpathy and Onion Uthappam as accompaniment. My friend and we enjoyed every bit of it!!! The staff were very polite, corteous and helpful. Would like to visit again before we leave and the food is definitely a topup to our medical tour to Vellore!!!
