Was in Vellore to attend my friend’s marriage and my friend suggested Namma Veedu is one of the best in Vellore, Hence we sat there for dinner and since it was my first visit, by looking at menu I was excited there were many dishes which was very new for me and hence here is the list of food which we ordered – 1. Egg Kothu Idiyappam – This made my taste bud filled with joy, when they served I felt it looks like semiya upma, however its mix of masala with egg made my thought wrong, its softness was damn yummy, a must-try for sure, I got to know that kothu Idiyappam is famous in Vellore 2. Dosa – crispy tastes good 3. Mutton Brain fry – Usual Chettinad style, I loved it 4. Sankara fry – It was okayish however the masala which they used was like kebab powder5. Vanjaram fry – It was okayish, felt fish was not so fresh6. Prawns pepper gravy – It was pretty decent to eat along with dosa7. Mutton Sukha Biryani – My friend said it was really good and requested to pack another to take away. 8. Kalakki – Good 9. Ice cream – Vanilla flavour did not excite me. 10. Panner Tikka – Good Overall it was a tasty experience, will try to visit again and taste few more items on the menu as I did not get a few items which I had requested. The ambience was cool and maintained their hygiene. Best for Family.
