I usually have never given 1 star to a restaurant but unfortunately I’m quite forced to do so. After a lot of debate n discussion to choose the perfect place for a ladies day out celebrating a day away from our customary regime we decided upon Novotel. In an all veg, all al-a-carte lunch we ordered the mezze platter that looked yummy on paper but was not available. The soups, salads and starters which we had ordered were okay but not to the standard we had hoped for.For the main course we chose the Thai green curry and quesadillas which were called double decker on the menu. I have been to tonnes of restaurants serving the Thai green curry but have never been served a green curry without rice No.1. No.2, the Thai green curry was not green and was brown instead, and was runny n watery. No.3 I’ve never had eggplant in a Thai curry. It was not something we could in the faintest of imaginations comprehend. The quesadillas were very ordinary.We decided to gamble on the dessert and ordered something called 60% chocolate which was supposed to be chocolate mousse cake with dried pecans, walnuts n candied popcorn but all we got was a really dense chocolate ball like cake with a very dry fondant layered on top and 3 tiny broken walnuts. There were no pecans, no mousse n no candied popcorns.The most disastrous part was when the bill came we were charged 950 bucks for aquafina bottled water, each costing INR 190.Although the food experience was a one to forget, I have to mention that the staff were absolutely courteous, the complimentary chat they gave us was super delicious and they did not charge us for the dessert. The single lone star is for the staff who did all they could to better our experience, how I wish the food had lived upto it!

Great ambience, tasty food. The dine out area is beautiful, well maintained with low lights around. I was there on a business trip. Strongly recommended for a nice calm dinner. And thanks a lot to Pramod Singh, a wonderful guy. And if you are planning for a Sunday breakfast it’s ideal place.. check out the bread section.. Great Job and a wonderful team work.. keep it up
Excellent service and food, the club sandwich is the best I’ve had in a very long time. Venkat and Bahrat were great hosts. Novotel Sipcot is the place to stay for business trips to Chennai.
Very good ambience to chill out at the pool side barbecue. had spent an evening at the pool side barbeque. very good staff. Staff Pramod Kumar was very courteous and served the barbecue in a very friendly way. Very good place to spend an evening with friends with cool outdoor breeze.
the name says NOVOTEL!Tried the outdoor buffet there.Choice of dishes were very few and they have only one resto out there so if ur goin there the second time n u want to try something new then u wud be disappointed.. food became cold soon due to the rains n there were mosquitos too:( not as amicable as my first time here.
