SPICE IT in IBIS CHENNAI SIPCOT is one of the finest dinning and hotel experience one will ever get.The property is situated on mahabalipuram Rd behind the NOVOTEL hotel and also hold for hotels and restaurant bookings as well. The interiors are jaw dropping and breath taking. The concept of quintessential lightning and mesmerizing kitchen and the soothing music was tantalizing,While entering straight away into the reception hall one can find book shelf with few books and cubical shapes structures placed which looks charismatic and pleasing,Just next to the right there was a copper pot with tap and copper glasses as well, As they have not added water into it, just to show off to the guests that the use of old traditions which our parents and our ancestors used in their good olden days which also holds same benefits of using copper utensils in home was written on side which was also as health aspects SPICE it wants to takecare of as well. The concept was astounding. As while taking a tour of the kitchen and the sitting area, tables were decorated with small pots of greenery and mint as well,The copper chai kettles with some kind of herbs grown in it was also mesmerizing indeed and the good old painted cycle was also in the show case to give it a good look holding crockeries and wine glass as wellThe kitchen was flawlessly clean and not a pinch of stain can be seen, and the cooking procedure was superb which their chefs are well known ofNow we come to food sectionWe were being served byTibetan thupka soupPhula soft tacos with peri peri soyaAubergine and feta saladFresh lemonadeParle G cheese cakeChur chur naaan with bhoondi raita and dal makhniMango shotsTandoori paneer tikkaAll the food items in terms of presentation wise were eye catching and also finger licking indeedThumbs up to the chefs and all the staff who are working hard to give their best, I am deeply moved by the Ops Manager swapna subba jiAsst Restaurant manager Saravanan PandianSous chef Jayendra for their incredible and immense warm welcome and time to time for the explanation of the dishes and feedback as well.I would recommend all to book for part venues as well as they are running offers come 5 pay for 3 as well.

We went for breakfast buffet. Spread is reasonable and taste is good. A bit expensive. Car parking is without a valet for me. Space is too cramped to park car. During the bill settlement the asked for cash and reluctantly accepted card. And they don’t accept food cards. Strange for a restaurant at the IT hub.

Visited this place to try out their new menu and seriously this visit was all worth it. One of the best place to hang around and to have some delicious food in chennai. Ambiance is great, they have a live kitchen which always attracts me. I tried a lot food and really enjoyed paneer tikka, tortilla, chur chur naan and what not. But the thing i liked the most was parleG cheese cake. It was simply amazing and scrumptious. One of the best cheese cake i have ever had. Highly recommended and a must visit place if you are in chennai. My Ratings :-Food – 5Ambiance – 5Service – 5Value for money – 5Overall – 5Happy Fooding 🙂

I had an opportunity to visit the restaurant to taste their new menu. It started with Classic Tomato Basil Soup followed by Abergine and Feta Salad. Then we were served with Phulka Soft Tacos with Peri Peri Soya(you also have Chicken for non-veg), Chur Chur Paratha,Dalmakhni, Absolute Classics, Chicken Tikka Biryani, Dal Makhni, Bondi Raita, Cheese Cake.I also ordered Lemon Juice, Mocktail.Classic Tomato soup, as they say was a classic. It tasted really awesome. It had a tangy taste and I could vouch that it tasted really different compared to the ones, I had before, elsewhere.I loved Pasta which were filling and topped with Olives and Garlic Bread. The feta salad was different(in a good way).Dalmakhni Chawal is something which shouldn’t be missed.Bondi raita was love.Love the Black Currant ice-cream, Gulab Jamun and Cheese Cake which were served in the end.Do not miss it!! You will love it for sure.

Such a beautiful place , with a vast space to occupy for your whole gang , family or even a romantic date , anything would do ! The service is great , quick and the food is served hot and yummy . Their Buffett is wide spread and the dishes are luscious. They’re also introducing a new menu on the second week of July which we can look forward to , cuz it’s absolutely delightful . My personal favourites from the new menu ( tasted in review session ) – veg Caesar salad , paneer tikka , Chur Chur paratha , cheesecake . Definitely a drop by place and a must try for all your cravings ❤️

Had our team session in one of the conference halls. The facility was good enough but the dinner spread was nothing much to talk about. Refilling took ages and the dishes didn’t feel top notch. By the time we asked the chicken tikka salad to be filled a third time we got only onions and everything except for the chicken. The first thing that we had to ask for it was a shame by itself and then the refill taking ages and dishes going down in quality for each refill was absolute disgrace.
