Had visited the place one christmas eve while coming back from Mahabalipuram. This restaurant is inside a 5 star resort, and the property is amazing. Ensure to roam around the resort, I am sure you will love it. Only because of the surrounding beauty I am giving this 3 stars.About the restaurant:*************************I think most of the people visit for buffett, they had lots of varieties. Starting from exquisite salads to sushi to noodles etc. They also had Christmas special Turkey. They do serve beef, mutton, chicken varieties in Buffet. And dessert looked awesome. Do check photos. We weren’t that much hungry to go for buffet and also it was bit costly above 3000 including taxes. So we went for a la carte.Cheesy sauce pasta – kind of too cheesy. Four of us shared it, so it was ok. Definitely would have been heavy for 2 people. After sprinkling some oregano and chilli flakes it was better.Chicken Caesar salad – portion was too less for the price, it’s the least I have had in any restaurant. However taste was good.Gosht biryani – not among the top 5 biryani’s for sure, but best among the four dishes we tried. Raita was ok, salad was also served along.Non veg platter – galawati kebab was the worst on the table, chicken tikka was good, best in the platter was prawns and fried seet fishComplementary bread and papad was also served, both were kind of ok. Something weird happened after we almost finished all the plates, they brought a plate of bread!!! Not sure if they were supposed to bring those with platter or they just came to our table by mistake. These 4 dishes costed us 4000 rs. Which was definitely costly for the quality of food however we spent some time later roaming the humungous resort. That made it worth.
