The food was horrible.
While coming from office saw this place. Have seen some of the reviews too about their paratha’s that it’s like North Indian paratha. So stop by to taste.Ordered aloo paratha and gobhi paratha from this place and a complimentary raita. Coming to taste it was decent and quantity was decent too. Coming to price it was little high as compared to the quantity but could be tried as it feels like close to home parathe.
Aloo parantha pyaz Gobi mushroom parantha were good . Lassi double malai is par excellent . Aam ka achar served were good . These all were 15 months back , but now the taste gone bit down .
Too much onion and garlic. Dal had more onion that dal and chilli paneer had more garlic than paneer. Paid a lot for the food but couldn’t eat it because of the above
This is a small joint on the very main road .. no big boards .. no big advertisements..You know what ..they don’t need any. Came here for lunch with zero expectations. Since it was on a weekday and we almost exhausted all the restaurants close to our work place, we want to try this as well. Ambience : Since it was only two of us, we did not find it difficult to accommodate. But, if you are visiting this place with bunch of friends, then this place is very small for you guys. They have only four tables with four chairs for each table for all their customers.Food : We had one mushroom biryani and one Aloo paratha which chola curry. Mushroom biryani was more like pulao than biryani and the quantity was very less for the priceAloo paratha was served very hot and it was tasty. Did not disappoint us. We had to order a side dish for the paratha as they did not provide anything for the side. We chose chola as our side dish as many of the dishes we asked for were not available. Quantity was a concern here as well.Plus point : The dishes were served in aluminium boxes and the plates were covered with aluminium sheets. I don’t know if this move is in concern towards the current water problem in Chennai but, felt it was a great idea to implement. Price : Mushroom Biryani : Rs. 190Aloo Paratha : Rs. 75Chola : Rs. 130
Normally dun write reviews in zomato. This is a first because I has to eat subpar food (ordered online via swiggy) that caused severe food poisoning. The lassi and the raita had rotten curd and the paratha we’re all burnt and tasted so bad. I was so angry that I had to eat such bad food after the wait and the money paid. I wish these people operated with some conscience.
