Best Pizza I’ve ever eaten. The place is amazing. Moreover, the ambiance and view add to the experience. Must visit for anyone visiting Mahabalipuram.
Quaint rooftop restaurant in Mahabs with a board on the street advertising pizzas. It’s owned by the same people as Le Yogi. The pizza was nothing to write home about (not the case with Le Yogi where the food was really good) and I didn’t feel like it was worth the money. The base was too thin and crispy and slightly burnt and instead of being filling ended up giving me a stomach ache.It could be that I’d gone there on a bad day or maybe they’ve got better pizza chefs now. Warrants another visit if only for the ambience and to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Okay so the first thing that you notice when you go in, is the rustic and lost-in-time kind of appearance that its gone for and actually managed to pull it off pretty well. The Crepes there are way below average, the Fruit Salad in Chocolate came with fruits like Bananas and Papaya with Chocolate Powder. Yes, you read that right. Just chocolate powder on soggy fruits. Like, what the hell!! So don’t know about the other items, but steer clear of these ones.
The ambience is very similar to Le Yogi, which is across the road from this place. The waiter was very friendly. We found the pizza to be really nice. However the French fries we ordered as a starter was served after the pizza. They could have just told us they were out of French fries and cancelled the order.
