One of the best hotel in taste in Kelambakkam area . A must try hotel in Kelambakkam. Good place for family dining and friends treat party. Reasonable price and quality maintained well.
One of a good veg restaurants near Chettinad Hospital . Im not a regular customer to this restaurant but im no new to this kelambakkam road. I’ve heard alot of times from my pals about this restaurant & their famous Arabian grape juice. After hearing this for the past 2 years i decided to give a try to this restaurant one sunday morning. Ambiance is okayish , service is good , Parking is not a problem here. I ordered a plate of idli , masala dosa , Pongal. Idli is soft , palatable. Masala dosa so much of mashed potato which should be reduced. Pongal is full of dalda which is not a good sign for a fitness freak. So, i avoided that. Sambar , chutney is fresh & not a stocked one. Then for end i tasted a cup of strong coffee. I made that arabian grape juice parcel. Skin peeled black grapes soaked in the grape juice went inside my tummy that afternoon which showed some heavenly mercy & gave me a sound sleep. Seriously if someone wants a good sound sleep then u can try their Arabian grape juice. Thumbs up for that pulpy juice. Overall a decent restaurant with some surprising foods.
The easiest place to order around food around the locality. The food is good. Have tried only the non vegetarian cuisines. Grilled and tandoori items are good. Gravy items all taste the same. The receptionist is not kych helpful

Its a decent place to have a quick bite. We usually drop in there when we are doing night duties. Service is a bit slow but food is ok. Reasonable rates as well. One dish which actually surprised me was the american chopsuey. Never thought it’d taste good in such a type of restaurant! Chanced upon it when my 5 year old son ordered it.Rotis and tandoori items are also good. Recently they have introduced grill chicken but sad to say it is far from good.For me haarish will remain a place I will fall back on when im hungry and exhausted and need some decent food with vfm.
I am a regular to this place right from the days when they used to have this hotel on the OMR opposite the Standard Chartered office. It used to be a more humbler and poorly ambient hotel but the taste used to be better and rates used to be cheaper. I used to regularly have their meals, parotta and dosa with chicken gravy. Even their Biriyanis, both chicken and mutton used to be very good. A year back they shifted to the current location on the Vandalur-Kelambakkam road, upgraded it into a A/C restaurant with better furniture and cutlery. But the taste and quality has come down while the cost has escalated. The Non-veg meals though has become more elaborate the taste is not that good as it used to be. Biriyanis however has become better with the shift from the basmati rice of the past to the seeraga samba biriyani of the present. The last time when i went to this place i ordered chicken fry which was cold, stale and after the initial pieces, they were smelling and tasting funnily. When i confronted the server, he told it is fresh and kept mum. Even complaining it to the manager turned futile. That was the last time i visited this place. srirelishes.blogspot.com
