Review No 546: This is late review on my part. We were told about the popularity of Moddy’s by the good folks at the place where we were staying. I could not imagine the depth of their offerings until the moment we stepped into their shop. Besides Chocolates, fudges, they also have a convenient store where locals and tourists alike throng. You can never go wrong with Chocolate being a mood lifter. The variants we tried and carried back home were the assorted nut chocolates, roasted almond dark chocolates, rum and raisin fudge, expresso chocolate beans and double chocolate fudge. Loved by everyone we gifted. They are now available on their online portal and via some popular e-shopping websites. Ratings on basis the experience thus far at Moddy’s in Ooty as follows: Food: 4.5/5 Price: 3/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambience: 3/5 (Keeping them neutral) ***************** Overall: 4/5 (implied rating of 4 on Zomato)
Nice variety of chocolates available at Modern stores next to the small Moddy’s counter. The chocolates are expensive bu worth it. Really liked the drinking chocolate sticks and Fudge Brownies. Would not recommend the patties as they are too oily. Had tried the mushroom and vegetables patty.
