The only reason to go here is for the food. They have worst service and really bad staff. I have had issues all the time with mix up of the dishes. They are super amazing in mixing up vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes all the time.

Loved this place! It’s not a fancy fine dining restaurant. It’s a tiny shack in a small gully leading up to Mahabs beach. You can easily miss the location at night.Seating is in the rooftop where you can feel the salty breeze and hear the sound of the waves. There are soft fairy lights and pretty basic plastic tables and chairs but the sea makes up for any lack of ambience. Perfect place to chill with friends over a laid back dinner with drinks. We ordered tawa potato, tawa calamari and tawa chicken for main course. Chicken and mushroom in white sauce was our appetiser or you could say pre-main-course!Portion size is huge and we felt two people could’ve easily shared one tawa dish, We struggled to finish our order. The tawa masala is finger-licking good! It’s a thick red, chilli+ghee paste that’s coated on your choice of meat/seafood or potato/mushroom for vegetarians. You can taste the flavour of fresh whole spices like cinnamon, star anise, poppy, black pepper as well. The tawa roast is served on a big bed of basmati rice simple cooked in salted butter and chopped coriander. The buttery rice helps to mellow the robust almost fiery raw masala from the tawa masala. Highly recommend this dish! Our starter of white sauce chicken and mushroom strangely arrived after the main course. But it was worth the wait. The white sauce here is not the traditional French roux based sauce . It seems to be a cream+cheese sauce. But it’s perfectly cooked and packed with flavour and you definitely won’t miss the traditional white sauce. This goes well with butter rice as well as it’s good eaten alone. Dinner at Sunrise definitely means you’ve to forget the calorie count for the day. Everything is rich with butter or ghee.We ended the meal on a light note with curd rice. The curd rice here is phenomenal. It’s the perfect perfect balance of creamy & tangy. Went extremely well with the tawa potato. Verdict : Must visit for the addictive tawa masala and gorgeous sea-side shack feel !

Location : Finding the place can be a bit of a task as it is situated a wee bit in the interior area. But, then we do have Google maps.Parking : No dedicated parking area but you can easily park your car around the area.Ambience : the restaurant is on the top floor overlooking the temple and the beach and it’s very breezy. Its not an air-conditioned place and it gives you a very nice atmosphere to sit and relax and have the food.Staff : The staff is very nice and welcoming.Food : The food is one of my fav here. The butter rice or ghee rice along with tava chicken and tava prawn is a highly recommended.other dishes are also good and the taste quotient is also very good.Billing : They also have Google pay option now, apart form CASH & CARD .

Well it was so hard to find the place. It is a residential area. No proper boards. We went inside and we had to go and ask them whether they’re open and one person said yes and we sat down at a table. But no one was around. Then we had to peep inside the kitchen. We were given the menu cards. They don’t follow the actual recipes of certain dishes but the taste was good overall. The prices are bit high so it would be better if they follow the actual recipes rather than just serving with what they have in the kitchen. The restaurant has lot of positives as it is so close to beach. With proper recipes and service the restaurant could turn into a must visit place. The restaurant has been there for so many years but still hasn’t got much visibility.Overall a good experience because of the lovely view and some good Indian dishes. Continental dishes needs a bit more attention with proper recipes.

I’ve been to this place like 6 years back and went now again after so long. The taste is still the same. Tawa prawns, chicken in white sauce and white sauce prawn pasta was amazing. I’m drooling over the white sauce, it was out of the world. At the end, the Pana Cotta was really nice. Had a completely happy dining experience!

A nice calm place to have a good meal. This place has a good menu of Veg and Non veg food and the preparation happens only after you make a order. The cost of certain menu are high still its fine for the taste of food they offer. You can have a view of the sea to some extent and the sea breeze adds a extra star to this place. My Pick : Veg Fried rice with Tawa Paneer or Tawa Potato and Fresh Lime soda.
