  The place will look good if you do a make over or shut it for a day or two and clean up each & every corner. the fish tank they have will be splendid if they clean that tank.. ambience wise i think it was used to be good, but now it’s below average. Getting down to the food the crab meat starter was bit on the dry side but the manchow soup was really hot and great , prawn briyani was soggy and little bit tasteless with uneven popping of spices but the prawn fried rice was good and my friends who ordered veg food also said they were decent.Overall it’s a good place but not a value for your money until they up their standards and atleast tidy up their place

  The food is very bad. We thought it is cheap, so went as a big crowd but disappointed to the core. only thing is the theme which is good. Buffet is worst. The vareiety is very limited. The food is not hot.

  Visited The Rock today for lunch and the ambience was very enjoyable for kids. It could have been better lit though. The major drawback was the taste of food and quality of service. We chose buffet, starting from the soup till ice cream most dishes tasted stale.Have visited many restaurants in the recent times but I would definitely not recommend and visit this place again. The starters has tandoori chicken, crispy chicken fry, fish fry, nethili meen varuval, squid and crab.The crispy chicken was pathetic, fish fry wss okayish, nethili meen had the entire head which wasnt preferred by me, crab was definitely very stale couldnt bear the taste. I dint even want to try the other dishes, had noodles and came off. One dish cauliflower fry was the only dish which was good. Even the ice cream tasted bad. This was the same opinion of all my friends too. The restaurant surely needs to take care of improving quality of food here.

  Visited there for a family lunch last Sunday, It seemed the place is crowded due to affordable price for a buffet non-veg lunch. We booked earlier so they let us in quickly without waiting for long. Theme is good, but need little more lighting to see what we are eating. The wash basin had a live cockroach running here and there. We informed the restaurant employee about that and to take care of hygiene. They offered Crab dry gravy, Nethili fry, fish Manchurian, squid, two chicken starters, two types of Chicken gravy, chicken biriyani, egg fried rice, veg pulav, veg gravy, cauliflower manchurian and more. The chicken fry named rock special, crab, fish manchurian, kadai chicken gravy tasted good. We felt crab and nethili need to be cleaned well before cooking. as the nethili had heads intact. They kept refilling most of the nonveg dishes quickly. Desserts – vanilla, strawberry and butterscotch icecream and gulab jamun. When we entered we saw watermelon, it was later finished up and they never refilled it. It would be nice if they concentrate on cleaning Plates and bowls more properly. While touching plates icecream bowls were oily and we need to wipe it with tissues. Ambience: 4/5Food: 3/5Hygiene: 1/5Price: Affordable nonveg buffet price

  The low priced buffet in all chennai is here. But as the price suggests the quality isnt low but is good and value for money. Be choosy with the time to avoid crowds.

  The restaurant could have more friendly staffs and an clean atmosphere there were cockroaches all over the place and the plates were too oily and greasy so it was not an good experienceBut the ambience was not upto the mark
