Vimalam mess. It’s our first stop in this beautiful city and what a great start!So, first thing, the timings listed on Zomato and google are wrong. They close down at 3pm and re-open at 7pm! We got here around 7, we quickly ordered their country chicken soup, mutton sukka and fish fry for starters. Vimalam special mutton biryani and prawns in curry leaves curry for main course. The dish that stood out the most Is the prawn dish, absolutely yum! Next I’d say was the biryani followed by the mutton. The downfall was definitely that was mutton was very chewy, kinda hard. For dessert we had their elaneer payasam and that was a let down, didn’t have that unique elaneer flavour, tasted like regular milk payasam. Servers are courteous. Ambience is also good.
