Last point to mention its Wednesday around 2 pm till 3 pm only we 2 were present in restaurant
We visited for lunch buffet on Sunday. Ambience and services were really nice. Buffet price was moderate compared to other restaurants. However non veg varieties were only 4 and more veggies. Good taste as well. Overall it was nice experience and budget restaurant.
Very nice and friendly cockroaches on the table to keep us company. Saved us the expense for the zoo ticket. Ordered Chinese chopsuey but got a streetfood version of it.
I was at friends place, and we decided to grab a quick drink and dinner, and he suggested this place since it was nearby. We walked into an almost empty restaurant at around 9PM, and we were greeted and seated immediately. The buffet looked uninteresting, and we decided to order a-la-carte, and requested menus. We ordered our drinks, and asked for a Kungpao Fish as a starter. The drinks arrived and the fish after another 20-25 minutes. I was surprised at the generous portion of fish, and the taste and flavour was quite good, and there was a healthy mix of shredded vegetables to fish which balanced the dish perfectly. The seasoning was excellent, and left us wanting more.We had ordered steaks as the main course, and since the waiter did not ask how the steak should be done, I prudently decided to let the chef decide how it should be done and presented. The steaks arrived, and it happened to be a healthy portion of meat accompanied with boiled broccoli, beans, carrots, and french fries. The steak was covered with a dark looking sauce.I reluctantly cut into the steak and was surprised to find little resistance. The meat while it was almost well done, had been marinated in some sort of HP/Worcestershire sauce, and panfried till a healthy brown crust formed on the outside, and was delicious. The sauce which was a caramelized onion reduction was excellent, and suited the steak perfectly. I have not consuming a well done steak in years, and this one was surprisingly good. The service was easy, friendly and not too professional, but the relaxed ambiance of the place made it a pleasant dining experience.
Not really amazing ! You choose this just coz of the stay !
The breakfast buffet is tasty enough, but the fruits served are sometimes leftovers from the previous day (taken out of the fridge and thawed). The juices are not great – just too watery. The South Indian food, though, is very tasty. But i guess you get what you pay for. The prices are not exorbitant and just about match the quality of food served here. Worth a visit nevertheless.
