can do better. good crowd, Lava Bar is on the P H highway. no drive in. you get ofo your taxi/bike and park them on the iside alley or if you are lucky on the front lane. Week nights is very crowded , I mean not the Bar, but the road traffic. As P.H highway is unique. being the only highway in india, if not Asia/world -it is a national Highway that seemlessly is integrated as inter-city main road, then for a kilometer stretch it is a one way street, and again a Highway and finally you reach the central rly station i.e. north direction. while on the opposite direction from this spot you hit the Bangalore highway. so that is the issue no exit ramp to enter Chennai ‘s inner roads, alleys, if you are headed northward and you are competing for space with big trucker,s buses, and about dozes of different mod of transports. As a result the traffic on this road is really unbelievable. Beer:/foodno one serves decent Beer in any of bars in Chennai. unless you are in some 5 star bars where you get to enjoy imported beer that is 5 times the prices (hoppers) with less achohol. local brews is very strong and you cannot call this beer. it is more toxic. names are quite impressive -carlsberg, british empire. all hv very high alcohol content -8%. usually it should not be more than 5%.In tamilnadi Beer/spurits is a ‘state’ property owned by ‘mf’s; of dmk. utter disgrace. must penalize such people who are in politics andselling spirits. otherwise great place to hangout with friends or phoes.

I went to this place last weekend with my team. The pros:The Ambient. The Karoake. The Cons:The Food.Attitude of the bartenders and the runners. Complimentary food was really the worst. Air conditioning was switched off after some time. People don’t respond properly and are not friendly. The management has to do a lot of hard work.
Guys avoid this bar/hotel. The kind of service very worst. Uneducated bar managers,and gate keeper servant advice. No parking space no privacy. Overall waste of money
One of the outstanding bars in the city. A place where you will get international liquors at such a nominal rate. I recommend this place to all the youngsters who are fond of liquors.
Waste of money.they are cheating if we order hot drinks we don’t need to buy water because they serve the hot drinks mixed with water only.but the place looks nice.
