The food was well cooked it’s aroma was also nice , but the food was damn spicy. So spicy that I could not finish what I ordered. So maybe they can work on that. Although my local buddy found it tasty. So if you like spicy food then go for it, if not then stick to kfc.
One of my favorite restaurant from childhood and i am damn sure that this will be a treat to your taste buds..Briyani which is served over here is the best part of everything and the fish fingers will taste the best. I personally liked crab gravy.
Food wise I would say this restaurant is underrated. I have had the non veg and veg thali from here and it’s delicious! One of the best thalis I have had I would say. The staff too is friendly and responsive.For me the wash area was a buzz kill – it was a bit dinghy and dirty. But the biggest crime was the saunf they gave at the end had that scent and flavour of cockroaches!! That was horrible! I actually felt let down when I had it in the end of such a good meal. I have had only the thalis so in food I m talking about it.Overall food is great. Staff is friendly. Prices are worth the thalis we had and they gave second helpings of side dishes when we asked and rice is unlimited. Hygiene is my only concern here and they can definitely improve it.
Entering the hotel I felt why is it dark ?But after sitting in the assigned table I realised the ambience is set to look for a village resto/hut .It was very nice.Briyani was delicious with 2 piece of chicken one leg and one breast comes also with one egg.NEVER ORDER PLAIN BRIYANIFull of spices . Cloves , star anise and bay leaf fill 1/4 of my plate when I seperated .Ordered SPL chicken roast.It was great well roasted and flavoured. Cooked golden red color .Over all- 4.5/5
This Hotel is located on the Chennai Poonamallee highway road. I visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The food served are tasty and the dining location is well maintained. Chicken Biriyani and fish finger are excellent and fantastic. Worth to visit this place.
After sabari yatra.. wanting for non-veg pulled us to velu Military arumbakkam. All spicy foods.. great taste..this hotel has great tradition.. when one finds MGR eating in .. our appetite increases..
