One of my favourite breakfast joints. This hotel is very old, and yet the best part about it is that, nothing has changed over time. If you’re looking for authentic South Indian food, then this is the place to be, anyday. Very reasonable rates and food is of amazing quality. Loved it!
Hotel Suprabha is located at the beginning of Harrington road subway. It is one of those unassuming places which is known for its food. The meals are served on the second floor. The first floor I believe have rooms for people to stay and ground floor serves South indian fare. I prefer to have their meal parcel and enjoy it with leisure as the quantity is huge.They also provide banana leaf with the parcel which is great.One of the best south indian meals with super quick service for parcel.

This place serves very authentic, tasty and hygienic food in the area. The food is basically simple vegetarian meals served on a banana leaf.
Tasting this tradition for about 20+ years. A local resident of this place at the centre of this beautiful city. It is exactly located right behind pachaiyapaas college.One can expect a great South Indian tiffin and meals from this hotel. Their SAMBAR is unique in it’s way. The place offers delicious South Indian cuisine. On a cold morning in Chennai, we came out looking for authentic South Indian food. First, a glass of Jeera Water continued with a finger-licking Sambar Vadai drizzled with a generous amount of ghee on top. It was a kick start to a beautiful cold day. Such an amazing place, a hidden gem. Wanted an home style lunch and remembered some one mentioning this place in a blog. The place has good the good old Madras restaurant ambience infact nothing much has changed here from many decades. The staff’s are welcoming and cheerful. The food was amazing and surprisingly I ate more than ever but still didn’t feel heavy. It was such an satisfying meal after a long time. If you happen to be around this place don’t miss the meals here.
