Finally after so much of wait went on the very first day of 2020. I liked the outside seating with roof than the inside regular city pub. The place is well done. The variety of food with drinks is great for all type of guest. But the pricing is a spoiler. Come on its not a 5 * property that one needs to charge 450 for Dimsum or for just 4 pcs of Sushi. The dal makhani with jd was a great thought and I really enjoyed it. Roasted ceasar salad was fine. The service could be little better with good recommendations. Overall a satisfactory experience.

And ask for Vishnu he’s going to be as helpful as was to me and hats off to Lord of the Drinks! All Bartenders are super courteous and are always willing to make you the best drink for your mood

After hearing people rave about this place, I finally got to try it out with my bunch of people .This newly opened restobar in Nungambakkam is definitely trending right now.Apart from serving amazing alcoholic drinks, they also have a wonderful food menu that’s mostly continental and very unique. They serve on the best Galouti kebabs in town. Loved their starters more than the main course. Starters like chicken trology, dimsums, prawn skewers, fish poppers were the best. The showstoppers are their alcohol infused food menu, we tried their jd dal makhani and vodka infused prawn biriyani.Their Courteous staffs and their hospitality needs a special mention.

This place has become my recent favorite among the restobars. Be it the ambience, music, service, food, drinks, they’ve topped it all. Especially their food, haven’t had such amazing food on restobars on recent times. Everything we ordered was so yum n tasty. And the drinks were another level. Definitely worth every penny you spend here. I’m going to keep going here often for all that they’ve to offer. Best place hands down!

I’d give a 4.5 if given a choice!!!First of all hands down to one of the coolest bar in town, in respect to ambience, DJ, service, and omg their food!!! It’s not usual for a resto bar to make some great noise among us party animals without a good reason! And here the reason happens to be so many, like how spacious the bar is (seems like no other bar in chennai is as huge as LOTD), how effortlessly they’ve come up with the GOT theme, and how top notch their food is. If you ask me, I’m anytime in to hog on their booze infused main course, wahh!Yes, you read that right! They have a specified column of booze infused main course which is not really new for me, but im pretty sure it’s new to a lot of other people. Yet somehow i was left astonished with how mouth watering and flavoursome the the JD infused dhal makhani tasted. Must try alert!!!!We started off with a tomato soup which was average, nothing specific. And skipped to their gun powder chicken popcorn salad which was great it its own way. Crunchy veggies with the added chicken popcorns were a hit. Also they’re Quesadillas were absolutely cheesy and tasted even good without any warmth in it. Even though i felt they could work on their dumplings a little, their mutton galouti kebab and beef ularthiyadhu were the hero’s I’d say. Loved how the beef was cooked to perfection with hell loads of mouth watering spices and also it’d be an amazing combination alongside beer or liquor for that matter! It’s got that deliciousness!!Coming off to their pizza’s, we tried mushroom olives pizza and chicken tikka pizza, where in both were cheesy enough but the mushroom pizza could have had a bit flavour since bith are very subtle add ons. But chicken tikka got my heart anyday. Since i don’t eat sea food had to rely on my fellow bloggers suggestions upon the vodka prawn biryani, and they whole heartedly drooled over the biryani i could see it.Now i was happy seeing desserts in their menu for I’ve always felt resto bars showing less interest in desserts. But seems like they’ve got the sweet tooths covered with they’re gulab jamun cheese cake which was delicious in every way possible. And now i know where to head when im craving for good brownie and ice cream. They nailed the brownie game!!!Overall experience was really good, i could personally sense anything wrong or unpleasant. Happy to let y’all know there’s a resto bar rocking the city with really great food and booze with some sound ambience.PS: haven’t tried they’re booze yet!! So no comments on it.

The Lord is here, and he doesn’t seem to fail in impressing us! His abode in the heart of the city is so magnificent with his massive throne, pointy swords and metallic armor. It covers a vast area and is beautifully lit. It also boasts a wonderful decor with a great space for gatherings and get-togethers with friends or even colleagues. The bar counter looks interesting and the entire space is super clean and tidy. Adding to this, the music is on point and gets you going. You will want to listen and dance to what the Lord wants. The food looked splendid and tasted great. A very appreciable food styling and service indeed. We began with a soothing Tomato Soup with Croutons and a Chicken Popcorn Salad. This soup was so perfect with crunchy croutons. To my surprise, the salad was extraordinary with a slight crunch from the popcorn. A much needed start to the grand feast at the Lord’s abode. Some of the most noteworthy dishes were the Malai Paneer, Stuffed Mushrooms, Fish Poppers and Prawn Skewers. The Paneer was absolutely gorgeous, succulent and fresh. That malai flavour was on point! The Mushrooms were impressive. I really couldn’t stop with one! The fish poppers were tender and crunchy. This would be perfect with a glass of beer.I loved the Mutton Galouti Kebabs the best. It was served on crisp & fresh Tortilla discs, felt like silk and melt-in-the-mouth types. The Prawn Tempura Sushi was quite different and not bad at all. Great way to style the wasabi too! The Dumplings were decent, but what makes them great is the consistency of the wrapping dough. Here, it was a bit too thick. This took away from the strong flavours of the stuffings! We tried the chicken and vegetable variants. The Chicken Tikka Trilogy looked phenomenal. It comes in 3 brilliant lavours – Tandoor, Malai and Hariyali. All of them tasted wonderful. Their Pizzas have the best cheese pull and they are quite generous with the ingredients too! Absolutely loved the Chicken Tikka Pizza. They have a number of alcohol infused dishes such as JD Dal Makhani! These are worth a try, at least for the experience. Also, the Lord is ready to host you at any time of the day! So, all you Elves, Dwarfs and Men, get ready to get feasting!

Lord of the Drinks had caught my attention ever since I started noticing pictures of the throne prop from here surfacing, which is inspired by the Game of Thrones.A bunch of us stopped by for lunch and the first thing you notice as you enter is the beautiful ambience and a very well maintained decor. A themed restobar, you can find references to the series all around the place, making it an exciting spot for fans.Among the dishes ordered, my favourites included- Amul Malai Paneer Tikka- Gun Powder Chicken Popcorn Salad- Fish Poppers- Mushroom Olive Pizza(Shoutout to the pizza for being extra cheesy, just the way I like it!)- Brownie with Ice-cream- Gulab Jamun Cheese JarTwists in food cuisines have always managed to woo me and that too a twist with my two most favourite desserts? Say no more!An overall satisfactory visit, with the staff being extremely courteous and all the food arriving right on time. Will 10/10 come back to try the rest of the menu.
