This restaurant in adyar used to be our go to place during my childhood . Though this was the first time to this branch . Menu: it’s not a vast menu but has a mix of south and North Indian food . It has variety of buttermilk and fresh juices too. Food: I ordered North Indian thali , Puttu and Sundal. Sundal was made from peanut and didn’t have any masala . North Indian thali was elaborate with starters, soup , main course and desserts served separately. Most of the sabzi in the thali had mushrooms which felt weird . The payasam and banana sweet were very good . Though dad felt that food wasn’t the way it used be years back I was happy for a stomach filling thali. Service : The service was efficient . They were friendly and quick too. It’s surely still the go to place for some healthy food .
