A beautiful night with no big plans but to just dine out and sleep turned out lit when I dropped in at Studio- The Slate, KNK- Nungambakkam.Orders: Chicken tikka: ‘Melt in the mouth’ was framed to describe this tikka, I suppose! Wonderfully succulent and beautifully cooked, the tikka packed lots of flavours. Did not require the accompaniments. Loved it.Grilled fish with Veggies and potato wedges:Fish had been grilled to perfection but had zero flavours. The seasonings did not sit right and the veggies were soggy.These two coupled with a pitcher of potent AF LIIT and brilliant Whiskey Sours costed 4.8k appx. Service for food was definitely slow though we were there pretty early in the evening.
