On 24/09/2019 i have ordered butter scotch cake in cakes n bakes.But the cake is totally disastrous. They are selling the old cakes with an offer of by 1kg get 1/2 kg free.They are thinking people are fools.Please don’t buy anything in cake n bakes.I hope all the items are expired.
Cakes n bakes is a small, cozy cafe located at nungambakam. The ambience is good with cute lightings. They have a wide range of pastries too. Their pizzas had a good amount of cheese. Service was good. Their sundaes are worth a try. And their price is super friendly.
It’s a small and lovely place for snacks , bakery and treats. They have pizza and hotdogs , one of the oldest pizza serving places in chennai. Their Italian Hotdog was the one the best I had in a while , unlike others the sausage was very big compared to the bun , making it a lot better. The Double cheese Margarita was really cheesy and saucy with a very soft base , a complete meal satisfaction ☺️.
cakes n bakes is little hidden inside the buildings of khader nawaz khan road but easily locatable as there are boards outside to guide you. it is a very small place to accomodate 10 people and brightly lit. we landed here on a saturday at 6.30pm to try their specialities. we ordered the following. cream roll, iced coffee, panjabi tadka paneer pizza, omlette sandwich, veg quesadilla, cutlet, veg roll, iced tea and pastries like black forest, pineapple, butter scotch and choco truffle. all the items are freshly prepared on that day. cream roll was so soft and it just melted in the mouth. i liked the pizza which had lot of paneer and cheese. pastries were too good and it was their specialities. we also tried their chocolates, choco truffle pie and apple pie. all were too good and worth the price. so do drop in here for a light dinner or ur dessert cravings. will surely come back to try their other items which we missed out
It is awesome with selection of foods with lots of options for you to select from their wide range of menu! They are making it more special with their wonderful cakes, pastries, tarts, pies, homemade chocolates and other desserts. Pizza was thin and cheesy with the veg roll being tasty! they are awesome in taste and very reasonable price!Ambience was good with parking places for car and bike around the building.I do recommend this place for friends and small getaway spot
