From entrance to by table restaurant was smelling foul. When asked the manager he blames the ac and rainy weather.Ordered the KV meals, it was regular taste, all items came @ room temperature, had to call server for rice and additional servings(no prompt service).All in all the guest i took for lunch was disappointed with me. Today’s was my last visit to this hyped place.Thanks.
My parents are a regular to this place . Been there once before . Today we were the second table to occupy the restaurant at lunchtime. And no one turned up for 20-25 mins even to serve water . When someone did turn up , they got the order all wrong. We had our starters for dessert. The waiter serving water could not be bothered to serve the water inside the glass..it was all over the table and in our plates while we still had food on it. Paneer Pasanda is two slices of paneer with stuffing inbetween in a red gravy. We were served the same with tiny pieces of paneer in a white cashew gravy.Only silver lining was the food was very tasty and by the time the food arrived we were super hungry and polished off everything . I don’t think I will go back or recommend this place . The staff needs to pay attention towards the upkeep and maintenance of the place too.
Such an overrated joint. I don’t know why people rave about this place. The ghee roast dosa was barely roasted and had no ghee. The uttapam was so so. For the price there is nothing great in food, ambiance or service. You are better off going somewhere else.
Worst service come across any restaurant in Chennai. Food was stale and cold. Dirty cutlery at the tables. No fresh glass for drinking water. Short staffed. 1 server serving for 5 tables. Rude and arrogant manager refusing to do anything about the cold food served to us. Highly dissappointed. After waiting for 25 mins for one plate of meals, they serve us stale food.
I was in the area and was craving for some south Indian food and found the restaurant via zomato. I reached there a little after 11.30, I was told they’re open and we were seated at a corner. After a good 15 minutes somebody finally hands us the menu. And another 10 minutes later a guy comes and says nothing is ready and no food is available. 1 star is for the great service and the second one is for the cockroach I saw on my table (photographed too). I’d have saved 30 minutes if they had told me that they’re not open/serving.
