After several attempts to dine at Nolita, we finally succeed on New Year’s Day. The reason being, they never answer the phone when you want to make a reservation, hence every time I visit them they are full. Luckily, as we arrived a table had cleared out and we were seated in the outdoor dining space which is very beautiful at this time of the year.LOCATION & AMBIENCETucked in a quite dead end on Nawab Habibullah Avenue off Anderson road, Nolita actually a part of ‘Ikhaya’ the boutique hotel and also in the same premises is a lovely designer studio ‘The Button thief Co. The interiors are quite simple and you feel like you are bang in the middle of someone’s living room (this place is actually a bungalow). They also have al fresco dining which is quite nice and refreshing that evening.STARTERSSince we were very hungry and we had gone for dinner, we skipped their salads and went on to order a ‘prawn aglio e olio’ which was served with a 2 slices of toasted garlic bread. Although it was quite tasty, it was a tad bit saltier for our palate. But I like how they has used tiny prawns which are usually tastier. It was over in no time.Their chicken Wings is a MUST TRY. Coming from someone like me who doesn’t enjoy that dish very much, you have to take me seriously on this. The meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was very tasty. It had masked the flavour of chicken and penetrated nicely into the meat. LOVED IT. And this was after we finished a medium size pizza, so it was not like we were very hungry and it tasted good. You get what I am saying? PIZZAWe were told that their pizzas (sourdough) were 10” big so we ordered just one. We went in for their ‘Slow cooked Chicken & mushroom’ pizza. We really enjoyed it. The portion of mushrooms and chicken toppings were balanced. The sauce was slightly sweet but tasty. I mentally made a note to come back and check out the rest of the pizzas one by one because their menu is very interesting. Since I don’t like to have milkshakes or any heavy beverage with my food, we ordered a Ginger Kombucha which was nice but I have had better. I wanted to try their hot Velvety Nutella nut my husband’s not a very chocolaty person. So, another day maybe. Having already tasted their Tiramisu (I still remember how we (foodies) begged the manager to give us one small portion and we pounced on it in as soon as it arrived in their waiting space outside as we didn’t get a table that day as well) I was really looking forward to the end of the menu only to be disappointed. Apparently they were sold out of Tiramisu that day and a fresh batch was being made. Felt so let down, but hopefully I’ll be able to go back soon and try it out.IN A NUTSHELLA great place for a date, pizzas and Italian food. I wish they start serving wine. Getting a table is the real challenge here. So, if you are lucky enough, enjoy!!

The quality of cheese has my heart. Big big fan of their Mac n cheese. Also had the pizza, which I should say was satisfying. The place is known for it’s Hot Nutella and tiramisu. The Nutella is heavy and as such feels like a meal, obviously but was worth it. Didn’t get to Try the tiramisu. 5/5 would definitely recommend!!?

The ambience is very pretty and picture perfect. The garlic bread was not the best but it was cheesy enough. The sundried tomato and olive pizza was cheesy with the tastiest tomato sauce and perfect crust. Hot velvety nutella was the best of all, even though I’m not a chocolate flavour fan I loved it, but the presentation of the dessert could have been better.
