Visited the restaurant a few times – Buffet has a good spread, nothing stood out. Tried the Veg pulav, Hakka noodles, paneer starters – tasted good – expected taste. This area lacks restaurants with good cleanliness & hygiene, this is the only reason I would be visiting them again!

I almost forgot the name of the restaurant It took a while to grab it up 😉 coz I dined in long back guess in 2016 A good biz hotel is what I will call this to be. The spears of the buffet is not planned well to start off a juggling of salads n crisp n the most unprompt place for the desserts is their food set up. U can find a lil bit of South Indian a lil bit of North Indian n tiny bit of continetal n a almost not existing Chinese. A make to order offering for pasta n Chinese was the only appetite saver I was dining with them for almost a week n found a very minute changes on their daily menu. Will just mention few dishes which was liked me Hawian Vegetables Grilled pineappleFish in white sauce Penne in pesto Moti ladoo N the failed ones were Biriyani Paneer butter masalaDal N lot to go so lemme leave it here To conclude for a corporate lunch this is one of best places to consider coz they have such kind of an ambience and great service a there is a high scope for improvement in the food n the menu planning

I had a bad dinner here today , the water taste different , they changed it and apologize. Gobi Manchurian was salty, phew! Soup which I ordered was not there , they realized after 10 min!! Finally an average veg fried rice after 45 minute’s..Ambience 2/5 , Service 1/5 , Taste 2/5 overall 2/5 .

I visited this restaurant for dinner on a weekday, as I went to ibis to meet a friend who was staying there. Between buffet and ala carte, I chose the latter. I am writing this review based on the beef steak I had here. It was terrible! The meat was hard and chunky. Half way through the meal, I regretted ordering the dish. The vegetable accompaniment that came along with it, deserves nothing to be written about.

Spice IT at ibis is located on the busiest roads of Chennai, anna salai. It wasn’t pretty hard in locating this place with the help of google maps.We were invited for tasting session as a group, to try their new menu and the new naan pizzas.Ambience, the restaurant is located on the 5th floor giving a city view of the bus road. It would look even nicer during the night. The restaurant has beautiful cozy interiors. They have enough space to occupy many people at the same time and very spacious.Food, we started of welcome drink and soup. The welcome drink was a pineapple shake which was nice and the Chicken soup was very pleasant and normal, which could have been even better. The starters were chicken tikka, tawa fried fish and lotus stem. The chicken tikka was good and very chewy while the tawa fried fish wasn’t that great. The veg starter was much better, the lotus stem is recommended. In the main course I liked only two dishes out of all. They were Keema Briyani and Madras chicken curry. The Keema Briyani was well cooked and the spiciness was felt on each spoon which I had. The Madras chicken curry is one of best curry, the masala was good and enough spice for the chicken to be delicious. Highly recommended to try it.Naan Pizza’s exclusively available only here. ‘Chef’s special’.We were served four naan pizzas chicken sausage pizza, spinach pizza, paneer tikka pizza and seafood pizza. The whole idea is very new and is very different from the usual pizza bread base, using the Indian breads for pizza is awesome. Out of the four naan pizzas, I loved the chicken and the paneer pizza more than the other two. Doesn’t mean there two were bad but they had their own taste which my fellow foodies loved it.From the Live counters: we had three different types pastas and fried rice. We had Penne Alfredo , Penne Pesto and Penne Arrabiata pastas. The Alfredo was very creamy while the Arrabiata was lil too tangy I felt. The fried rice which was served hot and it was tasty.Mocktails: We had Expresso cooler, Blue sky, Litchi and pineapple, Virgin Mojito and Ice tea.Expresso cooler is for the Coffee Fanatics. It is a mix of expresso and soda. It was very bitter. The Vanilla blue flavored Mojito it is.I Found the Litchi flavor more in than the pineapple, the litchi taste was more. The Ice tea and Virgin Mojito was very usual and refreshing.Service, they were attentive and very helpful. The management served us the food on time.My rating would be 3.5/5. Photos will be uploaded soon. 🙂 jayasuriyan.wordpress.com
