Took us close to an hour to decide the buffet menu, it was very complicated and required so much effort to decide. After 45 mins of team building activity to decide the dishes, All we got was the ones in the photo. 8 varieties of chutney with no starters. We were a bunch of 12 folks hungry on a new year gifted with only chutney varities.Taste of food was awesome and quantity was less for the price. Service and delivery may be dumb, but food was tasty. I would recommend that they scrap the current buffet menu (with multiple choice complex options), fix a buffet menu day wise, seat all buffet members upstairs, ala carte downstairs. It’s easier for rotating tables. Please rework on your system, process, customer assessment, delivery and coordination.Hands down, hats off, food was very tasty indeed. ++++Parking management need improvement.

Spice Klub in Nungambakkam provides a modern take on otherwise routine north indian dishes. The whole dining is made into an experience with a whole lot theatrics and a delight for all your senses. Kaameshwar who was our steward was very patient and explained the nuances of the dishes and the concept of the restaurant. There were 8 different chutneys as an accompaniment for most dishes. From sweet mango chutney, mint chutney, green chilly and garlic chutney, chutney with radish yogurt and walnuts. The chutneys were quite extraordinary. Kameshwar recommended we have more starters and hoard up on the desserts. Soup and Starters: Spiced tomato soup was a traditional tomato shorba, with the twist being moong dal dumpling (bonda) added instead of bread crumbs. The soup was spiced correct and tasted amazing.Roomali Cheese papad: Crispy fried roomali roti with cheese spread over on top with green chilies and spices. It was tasty and was perfect with the mint chutney and mango chutney.Dahi vada: Instead of traditional fried vada, made as a caviar by spherification of the curd. Vada Paav: Their version of vada paav, had small paav, instead of fried vada had liquid aloo masala also served like a spread, mint and sweet tamarind chutney. They managed to replicate the original taste without the fried components. Dahi ke kabab: Curd kebabs with mint spherification. The mint chutney was like a mousse on top.Naanza: Traditional naan loaded with paneer, with cheese and olives. It was perfect with tinge of sweetness and tangy spiciness. paneer lapeta: Paneer kabab covered in papad, with a papad on top with mint spherification. Paani Puri: Paani puri shots was again a visual delight.Main Course: We were so full by the end of all the starters, we ended up ordering very less for the 10 of us. A butter naan, onion kulcha, malai kofta, fried onion cor and peas pulao and masala khichdi. The rice items were amazingly soothing and tasty. The malai kofta was astounding. Desserts: The presentation of the dessert and they tasted amazing. The Soap cake a dark chocolate cake with rabdi foam was a delight to the taste buds, Flower pot: Rasmalai and saffron mousse on a belgian chocolate pot. Rasogolla Cheesecake was bit more sweet than the rest but was the yummiest vanilla cheesecake which had rosogolla between it and Paan Mousse was a delight and a great finish for the meal. A visual and sensory delight, paan mousse covered in betel leaf and sprayed with liquid nitrogen. For 10 people it cost us around 9k which was reasonable. The place had modern seating arrangement and the service staff were highly helpful and informative. They had information on all the dishes and very ready to help with information on the dishes. All in all its a must visit for all vegetarians. A brilliant concept which is further enhanced by the staff and the presentation of the food. Kudos to the team.

A perfect place for vegetarians to have a sophisticated fancy meal with a gastronomic affair. Presentation and taste wise, I would definitely recommend this place and it’s perfectly centrally located too. I tried their Malai lassi, pav bhaji fondue, cheese naan, coconut water with assorted caviar, galouti kebab, vada paav and bubbling kulfi. Loved all of them and my personal favourite with no doubt remains the bubbling kulfi.
