If you love authentic Japanese food you got to visit this place. We started our dinner with a sushi California Roll and moved on to individual portions of steak don ( beef steak and onion rice bowl) tempura don ( vegetables and prawn tempura rice bowl)Things you need to be aware, japanese food has strong flavours it is not for all. If you love those flavours you will love the food. Else be open to try new flavours. They do have a bar inside so if you care for a drink say cheers!Prices are definitely on the higher side . Per Person minimum 1000 to 1500 for one starter and one main course. We did not find any desserts in the menu!
The place is just very out of this we world , I really enjoyed my time here , especially the ambience and the staff was very friendly , would definitely come here on a daily basis. The food is authentic Japanese Cuisine which I really loved . I would highly recommend the pork cutlets and hamburger steaks. They specialised menu for ramen which is customisable ❤️. I would definitely recommend this place for my friends and crowds that love authentic Japanese Cuisine.
Finally found an authentic Japanese restaurant in Chennai with the real taste and unadulterated flavours. Their mocktails are AMAZING! Loved their tempura and Sushi!Their fried rices have a unique flavour and are really good. Ambience was so beautiful and had a calming aesthetic effect. Service was on point and very friendly!Definitely a MUST visit place for those who are looking for authentic Japanese food.
Had my first 3 course Japanese meal in an authentic Japanese restaurant at Kabuki, in Nungambakkam ChennaiThough I had my share of reservations about Japanese food generally being a little bland for the Indian palatte, Kabuki totally dispelled thatMore than that , the no of vegetarian options were quite impressive and even the famous Japanese food, Sushi had more than 2-3 varieties in Vegetarian itselfThey customize the dishes based on your requirement , retaining the authentic flavor which seems to be the highlight here.I had the Veg Tempura, Veg Yakisoba (noodles with mixed vegetables), Sauteed vegetables, Kimchi and Natto Roll Sushi. This has totally opened my eyes to experimenting with international cuisines esp Japanese or Chinese and not relegate it as bland food muralikarthik.in
An authentic japanese restaurant that’s authentic right from their ambience to their elaborated menu. It’s not an indianized version of Japanese cuisine but 100% authentic japanese food and unlike japanese resturants in rest of the city pricing over here is quite reasonable compared to the rest. Even their drinks are authentic like for example you get shochu over here , it’s an authentic japanese drink that’s got less than 45% of al in it that’s distilled from rice , barley, sweet potatoes or brown sugar. We started off with mixed seafood sushi which has the crunch from the fresh cucumbers and the fresh salmon in between and rolled together and went soo well the soy sauce and with the wasabi. And ordered my usual when ever i try japanese cuisine cuz nothing can go wrong with karaage which is basically fried chicken with japanese spice mix.The pork shogayaki which is basically bacon but cooked in Japanese style with all sauce was soo good and tender. Finally tried to prawn tempura which was light and made with minimal spices and the prawn which was used in it tasted perfectly seafood kinda sweet which means it was really good. For main course we had the veg yakisoba which was house made fresh noodles with their own sauces which should be a good option for vegetarians. And i ordered my usual the meso ramen which tasted just as it supposed to be tasted, simple but yet flavourful with all the broth that’s cooked in with the seaweed, chicken and the spinach, the noodles too are again soft cuz they are house made.Overall this is a must try japanese restobar if you’re someone who loves japanese cuisine like i do or even if you feel like experimenting new cuisine.Ambience : 8/10Food : 9/10Service : 9/10Overall experience : 9/10
