This place in express avenue food court serves south indian and some north indian dishes. Went here to get some soup for kid. Tomato soup is Rs.90 which is okay. The quantity is very less. They give it in a papercup which we usually carry for drinking water. For the price they charge , i expect a good quantity of soup.Taste wise, soup was good and no complaints. The other items in the menu are so costly. Idly costs Rs.100 and dosa around 140 rupees. Are you guys using batters for idly / dosa or something else. Their prices are almost on par with a star hotel. Pricing needs to be revisited.
A Chennai landmark restaurant but in a mall. The taste is what you’d expect from Kapila Dasa and a 5 on 5. The meal portion was reasonable for ₹160. It included biriyani, sambar rice, curd rice, minimal potato crisps, mango pickle and carrot halwa. The dahi vada was out of this world – very thick yoghurt made it fantastic to eat. Then why a 3? The meal is served in plastic and styrofoam. And that’s a no-no for the environment. Please change the serving material. It can’t cost that much!
Combo2:Sambhar rice was good..Veg rice, Curd rice and sweet were so-soOnly if u r a vegetarian n it’s not month end (keeping in mind the cost of this combo :P), u can prefer this..Didn’t understand the ridiculous concept of not accepting currency n other cards other than ExpressAvenue cardN trust me..By the time u go get the EA card, place the order n get the food, u lose the hunger itself..just like in our case 🙁
Visited this place when I had been to Express Avenue mall and was stuck up in the food court, and finally decided that let me have at Dasa Dozza.Ordered meal combo 2, which had sambar rice, curd rice, vegetable biryani and kesari bath. All in small quantities and the taste was average but the price seemed high. What annoyed me was, we had to buy a Express Avenue card to order at these shops. It was an okayish experience.
A quick service kiosk of South Indian cuisine. The only option for dosa and idlis in EA mall. The spot is perfect as its first as you walk into the food court. The costing is at higher side and taste okayish.
