Visited this place for dinner recently. Its interiors are old school so my hopes rose quite fast as i expected a barrage of flavors from the food. However, those dashed once I got the food. ordered fish fry (their recommendation), chicken chetinad and biryani. Didn’t find anything extraordinary. I have had chettinad food before and has been a much better experience. However the biggest issue was cleanliness. The tables weren’t clean, spoons as well. The raita served had a mosquito in it. luckily i dont eat raita so was saved from that disaster. Price, for given quantity and flavour, are high. Staff was decent. Although I don’t know Tamil so they found hard to recommend food to me. They finally got 1 waiter who knew Hindi who was kind enough to suggest food.Didn’t have a car so not sure of the availability of parking. Although its on a not so busy lane so shouldn’t be a problem.
