A great coffee shop right in the midst of all the shopping complexes and busy streets of T. Nagar. I had the best coffee there. It tasted heavenly. A small spot but if you find it, it’s worth it.

You get one of the best coffee not only in Chennai but in India here. It’s perfect for a bad headache. I tried the sundal here spiced up with onions and tomatoes and it was amazing. I loved the carrot cake here which had the right amount of sugar in it, nicely baked. Overall, I love this place and would to go here again.

I had filter coffee here. It was on the go and they were very kind enough to make sure I enjoy the best coffee taste. They did do justice to their brand name and all the chains. Totally loved it!

This has been my favourite place for coffee and at times Sundal and samosas. What I best like is that it’s pocket friendly and easy to access. Standardization of taste in any of its joints is another credit to this place. Usually I visit here for evening snack, however I happenned to search for early morning tiffin around 7.00am at Tnagar and found this outlet open. They had Idly available in packed form. I heard that they were outsourcing it from some outdoor caterers. This pack had 3 cup idlies with podi on top and sides. No other side dish. The taste was not OK and Idli without chutney is certainly not fulfilling for me.

In my hunt for some good coffee , landed up at the Madras Coffee House Kiosk. They are one of the successful kiosk chains in the city . It’s surprising to find the variety of snacks they serve here when all that you expect is only a good cuppa coffee. Even more surprising is the available range of teas at a joint named after coffee. Tried out the coffee , biscuit, rolls, cutlet and samosa here. The coffee and biscuit were a yummy combo . The cutlet and rolls were good but cold . The mini samosa was totally hard . It’ll HT great if they can find some means to keep the food hot just like the beverages . The food was served promptly . Just like most other restaurants they gave a bill through one counter and got it back through the other . It’ll be great if they can punch it and give it back to the customers as it’s meant for the customers . Nevertheless , great place for a valued cup of coffee.
